how can i see if my site was hacked?

how can i view the text version of my site as google sees it if my site is no longer indexed?

Its too complicated just for someone to say this or that about hacking on sights. Obvious manipulations can be seen such as messing around with payment options ect... But my advice is just have a web programmer take a look at the site for any changes or manipulation in code.

A good malware and security scanner is at Sucuri.net. Their SiteCheck scan will check your website for malware, errors, and out-of-date software.

To see your website like a spider would, WebConfs.com has a useful tool named Search Engine Spider Simulator

If you are running WordPress, I'd recommend installing the WordFence.com security plugin to everyone with a WordPress site.

If your website is truly hacked, Webmaster will notice this or you could notice this by checking it's settings.

Google will watch your site for problems when it scans and report any problems back to you in Google Webmaster Tools. Unfortunately while it is very good at telling you about the problem it is also very good at telling your customers as well. This is what causes the warning boxes to pop up in your browser when visiting a site.

securi scan is great and siteguard also has an online scanner. In both cases, the scan will tell you where it finds the suspicious files.

One of my sites had the 'pharma hack' a few years back. It sucked really bad. I had to delete everything and start from scratch...
