I'm doing a webinar soon that provides marketing info and tips to a niche market. How can I go about selling the tickets online?

Well, one way to go about it is to post an announcement on here - in one of the special sections - and hope people pick it up. This is free. Another way is to get other people interested in what you have to say (JV partners so to say) to spread the word for you. This could be the best option as it will have the ripple effect - one person telling many, and many telling many, and so on...good luck!

Thanks. Unfortunately my webinar won't be of use to internet marketers (warriors) plus and I can already here the complaints of people accusing me of spam. However the jv option sounds good, but may be tough based on the industry I'm in.

First off, is a webinar the proper format for your niche? Instead of selling tickets to your webiniar, consider doing the webinar for free and selling the recording. Or, sell your tickets for dirt cheap, just so people commit something. It's in your best interest to have more people on the webinar. More questions = more content. Also, consider having the recording transcribed (and make an MP3). I personally don't like having a recorded webinar as my only option for replay. With a PDF, I can read it when I want, and go right to where I want immediately. The more ways you offer people to use your content, the more takers you'll have. Jason |

That's great advice Jason. I do believe a webinar is the best way to get the info to my niche. Have you ever done a webinar for free and sold the recording? If so, what was your sales conversion rate? How many people on the free webinar bought the recording?
