So much competition online, you can't afford to focus on only one or two spots to generate leads from. You need to utilize as many different avenues to help generate the leads your business depends on. Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, eBay, Reddit, Craigslist, just to name a few. How can you find the time to manage all of this? If you're like me and most savvy marketers, you get the tools that will help you streamline them all and free-up your hands so you can focus of making sales.

You can use tools by AutomationAnywhere.com, Webiify.com, iMarcos.com, to streamline all your marketing efforts. That's a must if you want to make it online--you'll work less and make more money.

Growing your business is the goal here!

Not everything can and should be automated that requires a human touch, but things we find ourselves repeating day after day, should be automated so we can be more productive. After-all, that's what computers are for--right?

    HI

the first thing for me, apart from all the tools to manage the various programs, is a plan of 'action in my mind , everyday ..... a precise pattern that reminds me of my goals that will be daily, monthly and so on.
if not I organize my brain as a first step, I lose time.

It's really most prudent to concentrate on one starting out. Master that one source of Traffic and then move onto the next.

Trying to pursue it all at once in the beginning can be a recipe for disaster and information overload

Very true. It's only the people who have actually taken action. Know this. Listen to this guy. You will never know how hard it is to manage these properties until you start with one.

    Hey there,

I just focus on two forms:

    1) Solo ads

    2) Forum marketing

I do this to drive people to my squeeze page and when they signup they go through my followup sequence.

I think you should focus on 1-2 ways intently and hire an expert with the money you make to do the other ways & then hire someone to do what you are doing. That's when you have a real business

    Just my opinion though,

    Hope this helps

This is my personal opinion, but I see more effective concentrate all your focus on 2 main traffic sources, become an expert on them. That will lead more quality to your business, then you can start expanding some more and test some new waters.

If you try everything out there, you will be overwhelmed and probably quit for not seeing consistent results with high time investment from your side.

Focusing on just two forms of online marketing sources is an easier way to manage your time and effort, but it yields less than utilizing 5 or 10 different marketing sources. And to be able to do that, you'll need to either hire people to manage them, or utilize an automation tool(s) that will serve as your work-horse. If you want to save money and have an efficient system in place, automation is the way to go.

Most companies/people that are doing extremely well online are using automation tools like imacros, webii, ubot studio, to streamline their marketing efforts on diverse marketing sources. It's just more efficient.

The problem is that, unless you know what you're doing, "automation tools" like these tend to become spam tools auto-posting crappy ads at random in the name of efficiency.

Even "Mr. Efficiency" here has named a dozen tools, which I'm sure some clueless newbie will try to use all of them. At least until our friend here has enough posts to put his solution in his sig...

I follow the 80/20 rule of advertising.

I spend 80% of my advertising budget on known sources of quality traffic.

The remaining 20% is spent testing new sources.

I never stop looking for new traffic sources.

You should stretch the mouth of your sales funnel as wide as possible.

    Hey there,

I simply create a funnel with a squeeze page, free product, followup series & once I've created it I simply direct traffic. Once they go through the funnel I split test and optimize key points like my opt-in page, Thankyou page offer, & my sales emails/subject lines

    That's what I do

Yes there are several tools on the market that can automate this process. Doing it manually would be too time consuming.

I agree with what is said here, it's too time consuming to focus on multiple sources of traffic. Focusing only on a couple, then moving on once those are dialed in, is a better way to go IMO. Keep in mind that usually, it takes testing and tweaking to get any ad source dialed in, so that takes time.

BTW, no one has mentioned paid ads, but if you can afford it, you can get all the traffic you need. Once the ads are dialed in, you spend very little time and get tons of traffic.

Then, you can focus on building your brand and being out in the marketplace, not so much for traffic purposes, but for branding purposes.

        > For most of the people complaining about not enough traffic, it's not about traffic. It's about budget - they don't have one, so everything has to be free. Harvey Mackay wrote in one of his books that if you could solve a problem with a checkbook, it wasn't a problem; it was an expense.

          Totally agree! 100%

Even more telling. People will blow $60.00 or $100.00 or so on eating dinner out, but yet they won't spend $100.00 on traffic for their BUSINESS - for their FUTURE, because they're afraid they'll loose money. Well, when you eat out, where does the money go? You certainly don't get it back.

          Unbelievable, really.

This is your FUTURE. Do what it takes.

What automated tool(s) are you using or have used; you find very useful? I used to use uBot Studio a lot for my marketing but had switched to a new one, Webii, for the simple fact it's much easier. These tools are lifesavers for me.

You really need to focus on ONE strategy when you are starting out. While one technique works really well for one or some, it may not work too well for others.
