Is it possible the search engine crawlers have stopped showing links from video descriptions. I have recently added about 4 videos for one of my sites. All of these videos where low competition keywords. Well the highest competition was just under 300k. When I did this back in febuary/march using both traffic geyser and tube mongel. I would get anywhere from 100-200 almost instant backlinks. I know it is all on when the main site is crawled how ever since these videos are going to places like youtube veoh metacafe and a few others. Each of those video sites has a pr of atleast 5 or 6 which would get it crawled every couple of hours. So I should have gotten a ton of backlinks from posting these videos with a link in the description. I am using http://www.domain.com now when I search for links I am only using the www.domain.com Should I infact be searching this like http://www.domain.com instead to show the links. Or have the search engines stopped crawling links in the video descriptions any ideas guys/gals |
