Question for People that launched on JVZOO

Here's a question, can I have my product listed on JVZoo...

#1 if there's a id=parameter after the slash it would go to JV zoo...
for example: mycourse.com/id?=aff1

#2 If there's no id and no affiliate code to promote, then it will go to paypal...
for example: mycourse.com

Is that legal by the warriorforum rules?

I don't want to pay the fees for JVZoo unless the system is used...

Of course I will have everything correctly setup so affiliates are treated fairly... After all I have my name on the course...and would not want to screw up my name and standing with JVZoo...

However, I don't want to pay fees if I don't have to.....

Thanks in advance...

I think what you're trying to say is that you want to use a PayPal button on your own page - yes?

    Well...

If I'm assuming correctly, and that *is* what you're saying...

Then you'll simply need a separate page to do it, like...

    MyCourse.com/paypal-offer

    MyCourse.com/jvzoo-offer

Of course, either one can be the home page. Unless that's what you're already doing, and I'm totally missing something - taking out the aff id won't automatically revert to your own PayPal account.

    Anyway...

    Is it legal?

Yeah - it's totally "legal" WF-wise. There's no reason you have to use JVZoo in the WSO forum. They're not even affiliated in anyway. In fact, the WF wants you to use WarriorPayments.

You can set it up however you want.

Of course, if you want to make income claims, I think they're forcing you to use WarriorPayments. Which I'm not very happy about. I'm about to launch something with claims. So we'll see.

    Thanks for your answer...

Yeah, ok so what you are saying, I just need to create 2 separate pages:

    1. When affiliates promote they will go to MyCourse.com/jvzoo-offer
    2. When I promote it goes to MyCourse.com/paypal-offer

Well the reason I'm asking this, because Clickbank's TOS says that if you sell on Clickbank you can't sell the product anywhere else....

It's kinda like a monopoly with them...

So I was afraid if JVzoo has a similar TOS...

    But if not that's awesome!!!

Yes - that's exactly it. Just two separate pages. One with your PayPal button of course. The only problem I see you running into is that your affiliates might not like it. Which makes sense.

So let's say you put your main offer (that you sell) on your TLD, e.g. MyCourse.com.

Then let's say your have your JVZoo offer for affiliates at MyCourse.com/jvzoo - so you can get affiliates promoting that page for you.

If I was an affiliate looking for a program to promote, and I came across your offer, but I found out that I don't get a piece of the action (if the customer buys from the home page) I'm gonna feel cut out.

      You know?

In that case, it might be better to have two TLD's.

So MyCourse.com that you promote on your own

And JVZooListing.com that you have exclusively for affiliates.

Yeah as far as I know - this isn't part of their TOS. For example, WSO's. If you're running a WSO - you can setup a "WSO product listing" with JVZoo with the special reduced price just for the forum. But you can still have the public version (that you sell at full price) on your own site. You can list both at JVZoo and still sell it yourself. Whatever you prefer. You can't run WSO's with Clickbank, you know?

In JVZoo you can get your own personal affiliate link for your own product. No need for two pages.

If you go to the JV page for your own product (in the JVZoo sellers dashboard) and click on "Get links" you'll see it, in exactly the same way you get affiliate links when you promote other peoples products.

Just to add. To say you don't want to pay the JVZoo fees is absolutely nuts. I'm guessing this may be your first launch to ask such a thing.

If you go through PayPal directly you're negatively affecting your EPC and sales stats on JVZoo which is plain crazy and could well cause many affiliates to decide not to promote for you if they see low EPC's.

Plus the added mess of an extra product delivery process and list setup is, well ..... I just can't for the life of me understand why anyone would do this for the sake of a few pennies per sale. It's a real bad and negative mindset to have. Especially if you have a funnel setup, I think you'd be utterly crazy to do this.

Sorry, but ask anyone and they'll tell you the same.

I have my own reasons why I do what I do...
I have a special sub-funnel and I totally could use this...

I'm not asking if I should do it... I'm asking how to do it... But anyway thank you for your help... I'll check out the JVzoo page...

Thanks for your input I appreciate it...
