What's the best freelance site for finding writers for my blog?

I've recently posted a writing job on upwork, but I was wondering if there are any other sites where I can find high-quality, native-english speaking writers at a reasonable price. Any suggestions for getting my bases covered?

  • I would recommend iWriter. Great reputation and run by a fellow warrior, Brad Callen.

Did you posted your job in the right category? I have been using the Upwork since 2011. I am sure here there are many expert Native English Speaker. But the native English Speaker's demand is so high, so you can hire After checking the Quality of tfreelancer's previous work history & feedback. Beside the Upwork you can use the Freelancer, Fiverr & some other sites like these. Thanks.

Upwork is quite a good place to look up for a good article writer at reasonably prices. However you can choose iwriter.

If I were you, I won't hire from a freelance platform.

At best, you'll get generic stuff.

At worst, you'll get dull, lifeless, boring stuff that won't help you build a brand.

If you are anywhere CLOSE TO BEING SERIOUS about becoming a SUCCESSFUL BLOGGER you have to build a brand.

Sadly, content mill or content freelancing platform content is not the way to go......

Instead, find the top blogs in your niche (Hire a VA to do research for you) and reach out to these bloggers.

Many are very passionate and would write quality EXPERT materials for relatively inexpensive rates.

Never underestimate the power of PASSION.

If you approach the "top blogs in your niche" and ask them to write content for you, aren't you actually asking your competitor to to help you? That's usually not a very good idea in business.

Successful people know that niches aren't monocultures.

        They have segments.

Also, many successful bloggers are successful precisely because they are passionate about their niche.

They just have so much to say.

Put these two factors together and it's not uncommon for top bloggers to help out new subniche bloggers get going.

        It creates synergies.

Proof? Check out inbound.org and pay attention to who writes for who. Your mind will be blown.

The best news is that this applies to almost all other niches.

Don't focus on what you can LOSE... focus on what you can GAIN.

Things don't have to be a Lose/Win situation... Blogging often enables WIN/WIN mutual branding situations.

Bleh! Sorry, but when someone disses writers...they most often have a writing ad in their signature...funny how that happens. There are some excellent writers on EVERY freelance platform...and some bad ones on them all, too.

If you've already placed an ad on Upwork - why not wait to see what bids you get before deciding to advertise someone else? At the least, you may learn how to tweak your ad to attract the quality/cost you want.

The context of my answer is based on the reasonable assumption that the OP has a niche blog and is looking for specialized niche content. Put simply, your best bet is to go with a specialist. Otherwise, you'll get dull, boring, or generic content. The content may still be grammatically correct but it wouldn't matter. We're talking NICHE content here. I am not dissing writers per se.

Yes, I have a writing ad in my sig because I am a specialist writer. I am just advising the OP, based on my experience helping clients who had less than satisfactory experiences with non-specialized writers, that if he/she has a NICHE BLOG, go with NICHE writers who have a PROVEN track record (as evidenced by their niche blog posts) of writing high quality niche-focused material. I just want to clarify. No diss against writers.

I know of no mechanism that prevents writers specialized in a certain niche from using a freelance platform to find work. Sometimes finding them is as simple as crafting the right Wanted ad.

I prefer iWriter. The thing I like the most about iWriter is that you dont need to pay for the work if you are not satisfied and you can ask for modification. Go for high rating premium writers.

iWriter is convenient. But i would start here on the Warrior For Hire section to hire writers who already know how to quickly research a topic, and create pure original (and good) content for you. Also, do a search on Google for potential writers too. Alot of them with their own site shows that not only they can write, but they can market their services too.

There are always going to be varying results with content mill sites, but if you are willing to do some light editing as needed these can be good. I have personally used all of them on a few niche sites in the past.

In every site, you will be able to find the expert write, there is no doubt. But you have to find out the best one by checking their past / previous work report & feedback.Beside the English Native speaker there are some more expert available, you must check their previous work history before hiring anyone. Thanks

Your choice is good. Upwork is one of the most popular resources. But if you want a really good writer, you can try to find the blog you like to read yourself and ask the author of this blog to write for you. It may be more expensive, but more effective at the same time.

Well when you do say responsible price i hope you do not mean for free right. Fact is that if you have native writers you will pay them more , what also you can do is use the non native ones with good English. Please PM me if there is any room for non native but yet good US speakers/writers. Cheers.

You can try a few Freelancing sites - like freelancer.com, elance.com

Another good site to find writers on is textbroker.com

Check these out and let us know how it goes!

You can also look at forums like this one - and see if anyone is offering Writing Services.

    I hope this helps!

    Keep up the great work!

Most have already suggested iWriter, but try searching around for content-producing businesses, you can often get a bulk of articles in an order. If you're wanting top-quality content (which isn't needed) high-end freelancers are expensive, but honestly you just need the content to be decent with good grammar. Don't cheap out on the lowest bid from Upwork or Freelancer.com though, you're going to end up with writing that turns readers away.

From my own experience many people judge or blame platforms for what writers it has. You can find good writers almost everywhere. The most necessary thing is to look at the previous works! The problem is that many platforms do not let customers talk with writers or see previous works except of writology.com (as far as I know). A good way is also to search here or on reddit.
