Default Here's What I've Learned after 2 Years Online...

Hey guy's,

I'm shocked... It's been almost 2 years I've been online and I've noticed that it's only in the last 3-5 months that I've actually started to make a good amount of money.

So I've decided to share some information that might help many of you starting out and will hopefully "shortcut" your way to achieving some level of success online.

I know first hand that if you've recently discovered this unbelievable opportunity to make money online your sometimes left high and dry staring at your computer screen and scratching your head asking yourself what you should be doing to next...

So here are the simple steps you should be doing...

#0 - Go to ClickBank and find a good product that has a proven record to sell and get your affiliate link.

#1 - Buy a domain related to the niche/market you are in.

#2 - Get yourself some kind of autoresponder (Aweber, IContact, GetResponse are all good!)

#5 - Create a Squeeze page, or "landing page" ... (the uglier the better!)... and start collection subscribers, or "leads"!

#4 - Create or find a report or create a video of your teaching something that you can giveaway as an ethical bribe for the optin.

#4.5 - Create at least 15 followup emails that either pitch or provide some kind of valuable content for the subscriber.

#5 - Start sending traffic using PPC, Blog commenting, Articles, Twitter, Social Bookmarking, Social Networking, Forum posting. (SEO will take you too much time in competitive markets unless you are experienced in keyword research).

#6 - Make sure you track EVERYTHING using applications such as Google Analytics...

What ever traffic generation strategy that is converting the most subscribers for your the best thing to do is start spending more time doing it and do MORE of it!

If this processes takes you more than a WEEK you have FAILED!

Yes, you are taking too long!...

Also, if you do not know how to do PPC! DON'T WAIT... watch EVERY Google video Tutorial there is available for free! If you want more in debt training pickup Perry's Marshal book and read it on the weekend and launch a campaign by Monday!

If you don't make a penny doing this GREAT! At least you will have gained experience in creating this process that is proven to make money. Accept the failure and move on refine the campaign pick a different niche/market or change the product up!

Believe me failing is MUCH better than waiting!

Hope this was valuable to you, have a great day!

Alex

Great info - simple system and I love the fact that it can be done in a week - sometimes we look for the most complex answer when the simple one endures

I agree with you alex.. I'm always amazed at how many people seem to struggle.

The only 'model' that hasn't worked very well for me is one a lot of people here like to try - blogs/content sites. My squeeze pages / lists consistantly make me money every month, as do my review sites, with very little work or effort required once it's all set up. Yes, I've had problems with certain niches and/or products, but I simply move on and find something else.

Alex, you couldn't have said it any better! I think what happens is so many rookies tend to get frustrated when they don't see an immediate result that they get on the hunt for the next " Make $50k in 2 days Program" and we all know that time and IM go hand in hand.

Great post!

My suggestions of a Marketing Method that's worked for me;

1) Choose a Product to sell
2) Get a GOOD Domain Name which is appropo to the Product
3) Make a 1-page site and put an "Intro Video" on it where you present a "FREE VIDEO REVEALS....main benefit to the product you've chosen
4) Your "Free Video" is a "Sales-Video" giving reasons why viewers should buy the product.

You've captured their contact info (Name & Email) for them to get to see your "Sales Video" so you can follow-up with other offers.

Actually....I started my Video Marketing program with a $100 Flip Cam. Stay close to the camera otherwise the mic won't pick up the audio.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this. Very inspirational. One point you make that I think is key is the idea of "just do it" - I think it's important to keep moving and not allow yourself to get bogged down on nitpicky little details. As you say, if this doesn't work, dump it & try another. After all, that's the method that gave us Edison's lightbulb!
