Launching a product in less then a month and I have joined a ton of FB groups having to do with the niche. Want I was considering doing different is actually reaching out to the FB group owners to see if they would like to be affiliates of the product and help me promote it to their groups. Has anyone ever done something like this before or seen it done? If so would did the person do that made it work for them? My goal would be to create a long lasting relationship with these "partners" and also focus on the "whats in it for them" which I'm going to assume is key to making this happen.

There is a great difference in FB group and FB fan page .Most FB groups are full of spam and no one visit your ads there.

You can JV with only those guys who have good fan page with active visitors .You can easily check this.

Instead of it i suggest to use FB ads to create buzz /sales about your products

      I have to disagree.
I know from personal experience that FB groups can be VERY helpful to get the word out but it's not exactly easy. Think of it as mining for gold.

It takes time and a lot of effort to weed out the nonsense groups that give you no return. But for those groups you find that will have actual active participants and real people who will actually look at your posts and respond it can be SUPER effective.

I say try your idea out, see what happens... what's the worst that can come of it, they say no? It'll be worth a shot anyway, don't you think?
