HOW TO GET FUND OR GRANTS.

i have a really good idea about a website i want to create and services.
the only problem is, i dont have the knowledge to create the site myself.
and if i hire someone to do it for me it will cost me alot of money.

so what is the best thing to do?
how do i get funded and grants for my new business

please help.

If you're in the UK and a young person, you could try the Prince's Trust

It is highly unlikely that you would find a grant to start a small business.

If you've got a great idea for a web site, make it happen on your own.

Write out your business plan and then estimate how much money you will need for the basics, such as:

Hosting
URL
Graphic design
Etc.

Once you dig in, you'll see that it costs WAY less to start an online business than a traditional business.

I dont want to be negative, but chances of getting grants or investors in this economy and in ".com's" is going to be nearly impossible.

A better approach would be to find people who have the skills that you do not have and partner with them. There are all kinds of things you can do to make money to fund your business, but dont wait around hoping to get grants.
