How is it that Jet Pack stats are always higher than Google Analytics?

    Hi deebee23,

because they aren't that precise like Google.

I've tried both in the past but imho, Google Analytics is the way to go.

    Regards

    I'm thinking of trying Piwik

someone says that the tracking system of visits Piwik more accurate than Google Analytics
although I use GA to try it, it has many features and is constantly evolving thanks to a community of developers who carries out the project for some years.

    I 'll try

I'm using Piwik (free open source) for a few years and it's excellent with a HUGE array of features (amazing). It's like having your OWN Google Analytics, especially if you have several websites and want to keep everything centralized. There also is a WordPress plugin to connect with your Piwik.

Talking about WordPress, who would be right in their mind running Jetpack? It's bloated and will dramatically slowdown you page loads and you do not want that as page loads counts for ranking with Goog...

      Best regards,
      Andre Foisy

As I understad you would want to use Jetpack with wordpress and this is quite good to see all your statistics on dashbord, which are really easy to understand. And don't worry, you could easily use Google analytics code too, no problems at all. Just choose what's best for you at the current time. Google analytics has more information, but you need some knowledge to analyze it. Good luck with both programs
