Another nube -have product, not travelling well yet. Any mentors or advice?

Not sure where I fit in here...

I have my own original product (weight loss guided meditations) which I am trying to market. I have ideas for a range of similar MP3s once I get this first one rolling.

I have been sifting through all the IM stuff I can read but I feel stuck about selling my own product. I have a few sales and light traffic but I want to get it to the next level.

I am happy to give a copy of my product to anyone who might take a little time to look at what I am doing and provide some advice.

I am waiting on approval from CB (75%) and wondering if I should join any others, such as shareasale, paydotcom, payloadz or others.

My product and website are all home made by me. I am selling direct from the site through PayPal and have separate pages for CB.

I am messing with adwords, adbrite and yahoo ads. I have sent out a couple of articles which pull a bit. I have given up trying to get an ad approved on facebook!

Most leads seem to come from Google search.

I would really love some specific advice about what I am doing wrong or how I can ramp up sales. Happy to pay for one-on-one help within reason.

Hey Ned,

One thing would be to get rid of the links you have on your CB sales page. If people click on them they are probably gone forever.

Secondly what about setting up a squeeze page.

There are no testimonials on your CB page.

I would work on the copy. Especially the head line.

How about becoming a guest author on someone blog or site.

I am sure others will chime in and offer all kinds of great suggestions for you.

OK I dumped the links, added testimonials and dropped one of the headlines, all on the CB page, thanks to mrmatt.

Is the audio player OK on the CD page?

What is a squeeze page in this context?

I could use some help with the copy, please anyone...

There are quite a few distractions on your page, that may help visitors to get away.

Basically you'd want every visitor to get captured, start reading, and only leave the page by clicking your 'buy' button. No menu's, definitely NO Adsense on your sale page, etc.

I would also try to convert the features into benefits: "My Soundfiles are the audio key to the program" --> "The mp3 audio files enable you to listen to this ebook wherever you want, while driving to work, while walking / jogging, while cleaning the house"
There are many great squeeze pages around, I'd study them and copy their format.

You are referring to the home page of my site, which includes navigation and shopping. I have ditched the Adsense.

So guess you are saying I should send my traffic to a squeeze page instead of the home page? But why not send them straight to the home/sales page or a CB sales page, like nevereverdiet.com/cb ?

I am looking for a copywriter...

Been sweating over a hot keyboard and trying to apply some of the wisdom on these pages.

So I have gone from this:
The original page: nevereverdiet.com/index.php

to this:
The new version: nevereverdiet.com/diet/

and I would love some opinions please.

I am running several different low budget PPC campaigns on Google and Yahoo but getting very little traffic.

I am also now approved on CB (took a month) with this page:
nevereverdiet.com/cb/

but no interest yet.

Any ideas on getting this kick-started?

Running out of ideas now...
