Blogging Button Question

I am working on my first serious blog for IM. I am using blogspot service, so it works different than wordpress.
What I was wondering is I want to have buttons for all the major social bookmarking and networking sites. I have the little "Add this" bar right now, but I am more interested in getting more noticeable buttons for my blog. I was wondering if anyone had an idea what this guy used:
hxxp://mashable.com/2007/09/06/widgets-2/ (remember you have to change the xx to "tt") the button are at the bottom of the post but above the comments.
So I guess my question then is can this be done easily by some site I just do not know about yet or did he just use HTML and get buttons and do it himself?

Does this make sense? I hope so I am new to blogging and have almost no HTML experience but can learn what I need to.

There are loads of applications,scripts,plugins that will create these types of buttons, I've used AddThis before too but haven't investigated any others.

If you wanted something that matches the style of your blog and integrates easily with blogger you could create a project for someone to build a application that matches your exact requirements on a freelance website, like ELance or RentACoder.

The buttons are just links created using the "submit a web page" link from each social media website and the "permalink" for the blog posts.

Hi i have set up my first serious blog for IM and am looking for other bloggers to link our blogs together..

My blog is all about Internet Marketing Resources and is in the top 5% at sortsite having just done a site check.

If any one is interested in JVing with me through our blogs that would be great.
