Hey Guys,
I am just interested in how much traffic your article marketing campaigns are bringing you. Personally my article campaigns bring me an average of 290 uniques per day.

What does your efforts bring you PER DAY?

I am in IM for less than a year. This is the only method I have not started yet and thinking about doing so in near future.

How many article do you post? Do you write by your self or do you hire people to do that? Is it converting well?
Well i have posted 217 articles at ezinearticles. I wrote my first 90 articles but now i have my article writing outsourced. Saves a lot of time and frustration.

Is most of your traffic coming from the search engines, the article directories, or from the articles being used on other sites?

Most of my traffic is coming from the search engines. From picking good keywords and getting good ranking in the search engines

Depends on niche and quality of an article.

Honestly, most of my traffic comes from YouTube and video marketing sources. I've found that YouTube is great when you have the right keywords and tags because it is owned by Google, so they give those users and videos higher rankings. Also, it helps with the backlinking.

Also, granted, I haven't done a whole deal of article marketing...

Article marketing is still doing great for me. My CTRs average 24% for all my articles. But I see them between about 12% - 57% usually.

If anyone thinks article marketing is old school and dead, you're the dead one.

hey have jumped into article marketing, i wrote my first 90 almost platinum. However i would say though that sometime you will get a little url clicks based on your article views, what i have found out is to make your resource box more of you know people wanting to click on it. Also what do you guys mean when you say outsource?

To outsource means you give the work to someone else outside your business/company. If you go to a site like Elance, you can post an advert for a job you want doing, and how much you are willing to pay. Then people will bid to try and secure the job for themselves, it's up to you who you choose.

If you go to the WSO area, no doubt someone will be offering an article writing service at a discounted rate for warrior forum members.

      Paul.

majidmaskat - outsourcing articles is just paying a writer to write articles for you. Very simple, not too expensive, but the quality of the article varies as a function of the price you pay.

What I find is that my outsourced articles have lower CTRs, but just by the sheer volume of articles they drive good traffic to my sites.

I personally write about 25% of my articles, and these have MUCH higher CTRs than the outsourced articles.

I have several hundred articles floating around out there. Many of the early ones don't bring much traffic at all, but not because they're old. As someone above me mentioned, you need to write them around popular keywords, and early on I didn't do that. And I have some that I sold the link rights to along with a site I flipped. So I can't track those any longer.

I'll say this... if you do good keyword research first, THEN write articles around those keywords, and THEN get links to those articles, you'll put your article marketing traffic results on steroids. 'Nuff said.

Of course, the way you end each article is huge too. Does you no good to get a lot of eyeballs on your articles if you drop the ball at the end by not giving them good reasons to click on over to your site.

I am only using ezine articles right now. But for every live article I write I get one published, 10 clicks, 100 article views. It's a start...

Is there anywhere to view how to make a good article. How many words to use and the ratio of keywords to total words. I am trying to see what effective article writers are doing to get the success out of articles. I know how to post and what key words I want to use but I don't know how long the articles should be or what they should talk about. I have heard that sales talk in them is not good to do. Is that true? Please advise and thank you in advance.

Your keyword should make up about 1.5% of your article total. That is enough. Also your keyword should be in the title.

How many articles do the guys getting 1000UV per day have?
      What are your techniques?

The poll results are pretty disappointing. Not much article traffic.

To improve the poll turnout - you'd probably get more votes if the results weren't made public.

How do i make it public? I thought it was public. Sorry

Article marketing doesn't bring me a large portion of my traffic, and I don't spend too much time focusing on it. Why? Because my years have taught me that my best bang for the buck comes from optimizing for search engine results. Generally speaking, to me, articles require too many clicks to get people to my actual offers.

I've only been able to submit 1 article to ezine, because I got suspended after my 2nd article was reviewed lol.
I will let you know how much traffic I'm getting after my account is active again
