How much should I sell SEO and Web Development/Design leads for?

I can get people who are looking for seo and web development/design but don't have a figure in mind in which to sell them to businesses... The leads would be exclusive and actually genuine people looking for the services.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you.

    Hi
Best thing to do is a survey and try get information out,

Another solution is to start with a low offer price for a month and promote it telling them that the price will be going up,

    or the best way is;
See who your competitors are and what there prices are and match it...

    Hi Munir

    Thanks for your quick reply!

I was actually thinking about the last one, competition research but so far, when you type " web design leads" or "seo leads" there are not trustworthy sources to say " that's the pricing" so what im trying here as i know there are a bunch of people that do web design and some pay for leads, is to get a price point on how much are they paying or how much are willing to pay based on the actual rev that can turn one good lead.

Also, i'd like to know what represent a "good lead" to a web designer or SEOer (not sure it term exist )?

I want to get a clear view so i wont overcharge people never.

A good lead would be someone that has expressed interest in getting something going soon. Someone who is a decision maker that is willing to sit and listen to a pitch.

But information I'd like from you on the lead:

    Business name**

    Type of business**

    Owners name / contact**

When are they looking to get the project going / completed**

    How many owners**

    How many employees

Do they have a marketing department

What are they currently doing for marketing*

    Whats their marketing budget*

    Who makes the decision**

Can I get a meeting with them

I could go on, but my point is the more info the better.

Either way, if these leads were converting I'd pay $100 per lead no problem. Cheers. But I can also get leads from thumbtack that are like $8...

the "who makes the decision point" is very valid

people don't want to waste their time with non-decision makers

    .

You should see how well your leads convert first. Maybe offer a few for free to a web developer and see how many leads it takes before he can close one of them. Then price accordingly for how much you know web developers charge.
