Creating an Automotive News Blog Website

Looking to create an Automotive News Blog Website. What would be the best platform to use to complete the website? Are there any legal issues one can run into providing news from other sources?

I see no reason for you to require any other platform.

You could probably hire a competent Wordpress web designer and pay a few hundred bucks to get them to create it for you. It's best to provide content from your own knowledge. If you have the same info as someone else, one of you isn't necessary.

    WHY are you necessary?

Wordpress is a great platform. You can curate articles form other sites, but ensure to give credit. Also make sure to include your own unique content to help with search engine rankings. Make sure to mix up your content.

Being an authority does not mean you have to know it all, but at least how to find the relevant information that others want and can't find themselves.

StudioPress has a very nice news theme for their Genesis platform (WordPress) called News Pro. It will do what you want.

Yes, there are legal issues. Large news distributors like AP (Associated Press) expect to be paid for their service. Don't copy and paste their news. Many small niche news providers copyright their information as well.

You can quote small snippets of news and then add you own take on it (commentary) or analysis - that's news curation. Be sure to give credit (attribution) to the source.
