TRAFFIC JAM - beep beep!
beep beep honk honk ... bumper-to-bumper TRAFFIC
Hey guys - i'm somewhat new to internet marketing but doing my homework and making mistakes along the way; school of hard knocks. Anyways, I recently found this forum and very grateful - so thanks!
I come from a medical background and feel I have valuable content on my blog site related to natural health. That said, i've been looking for legit ways for driving traffic and building up a meaningful list.
I am a new member of HTA and learned the basics of creating a landing page, opt in and have actually built up about 1,000 emails within about 2 months - by providing a free ebook for email info.
MISTAKE 101
HTA recommended Lead Impact [LI] as one of the valued sources to help generate traffic. I created an account with LI - paid the $1,000 deposit and got ZERO traffic on keywords which google states being searched about 3 million per month. I tried both targeted URLs and eventually tried basic keywords [as broad as "health"] and still ZERO TRAFFIC!
Anyways - I canceled my account and *hopefully" will get my refund.
The essence of my question ...
INQUIRY: BEST SOURCES OF TRAFFIC - both free and paid?
- should I consider TrafficVance - or will it be similar results to Lead Impact?
- I may be too green for google adwords for now
