How To Incorporate And Which One - Your Thoughts?

Hello,

I've decided to incorporate my business because income seems to be going up and I want to treat this as a real business.

I know there are many options - S-Corp, LLC, etc etc etc

I'm not sure which one to choose?

In addition, I've heard you can incorporate online, which service is good?

Please advise.

If you have to ask, an accountant should be making the decision for you. It will prevent the "why you picked wrong and how much it's cost you so far and how much it will cost to fix it" meeting you'll have with an accountant if you make the mistake of doing it yourself (as I did). The best choice is a complicated function of your personal finances, your business plan, reliance on credit, and current and projected business income and outlay.

This is one of those questions that you really need to sit down with a qualified professional and get some specific advice tailored to your location, situation and ambition.

That could include a CPA, an attorney well-versed in business entity formations, and even a business insurance pro.
