e-Commerce Start Affiliate, then Sell Own Products

Hello,

Just wanted to make sure, anything wrong with starting e-commerce website as affiliate website ( featuring products then redirecting to other online shops), then later once traffic is enough I can start selling my own products?

I do not think anything wrong with this approach, just wanted to make sure...

Thanks
A

Nope, this is actually a very common practice, although I would recommend notifying the buyers that they are not purchasing directly through you.

I'm not certain, though I'm pretty sure the free WooCommerce plugin supports affiliate redirects.

    Seems perfectly acceptable.

Just be sure that the traffic you are sending to your affiliate site would still be viable traffic for your own product.

... in other words, don't sell tomatoes as an affiliate then attempt to sell your own potatoes while still driving traffic only interested in tomatoes.
