Need Help finding Dream Viewer Software

I had a web developer build me a website. I own the site and want to make any updates to the information. I don't know anything about website design. So I am wondering if I need to purchase the "Dream Viewer" software he used to develop my site to manage it? If yes, where can I purchase this software? If no, what is the best way to update information on my site? Thanks for any and all help!

it's spelled dreamweaver lol
Anyways you can get it here: web design software, HTML editor | Adobe Dreamweaver CS4
The only problem is- it's expensive and really awesome for more advanced stuff.

You can basically update the site info with windows notepad too, but a free html editor KompoZer - downloads like this one will help you edit the stuff without messing with code.

Thank you for your response. I did confirm with the web developer the software name after he gave me this information on the internet. And he said it is "Dream Viewer" Not Dreamweaver. Is is possible that he is not being honest with me? I did find information for free downloads on Dream Viewer but not the initial software. That is why I decided to come to this site to ask questions. Again thank you any responses.

I'm not sure I'm asking my questions clearly. My original questions was I'm looking for a way to manage the content of my new website without having to go back to the developer. I'm not sure if I have to have the software to do this task. I really don't want to purchase the software if there is a way to manange my new website without doing so. I really need to know if there is a web design / development software called Dream Viewer? If yes, how do I purchase it? If no, when what is the best way to update and manage the content of the site since he is saying it was developed on Dream Viewer?

There is not a Website Editing Program called Dream Viewer - just Dreamweaver. If you want to update and change content without to destroy the design of your website, you can use a program called " Contribute " - you can see the features here at

Forgot to mention - it is compatible with Dreamweaver since the same "machine" runs in both programs.
