Does this still work today?

It's a video about using adsense to make $50-$100 per day per site.

#today #work

    Don't know maybe.

If you really want an answer to the question, just
give the method a shot for 14-28 days consistently
    non-stop.

It might work for you, but might not work for someone else.

Just give it a shot on top of everything else you are doing
    online :-)

    Hope that helps,

    Isaiah

Agree, The only way is to do it for yourself and test. It could take some testing and tweaking but that what is is all about. most of the time anything you try wont work out exactly as planned. give it a shot for 30 days full on. see what you can do!

I don't want to do things that won't work anymore. I don't mind working for something that will bring some gain, but to spend cash I can't afford to loose or time wasted isn't a luxury I have.

Hell, I would be happy with $3.00 per day. At 90.00 a month that would help pay the electric bill.

No, he left way too many gaps for that to be an effective strategy without a lot more learning.

The general idea of finding targeted keywords, creating content around those keywords, driving traffic by seo, social media, YouTube, PPC, etc. and monetizing that traffic is a sound model.

But he didn't give you much more than that in the video.

There are better, more detailed videos on YouTube.

The devil is in the details. All the details.

Well, really you want to watch multiple videos on each aspect of your business model. You want to get a sense of "how things work" and to be able to apply the techniques.

For example, the video below talks about a niche site on "mentalism". How did he come up with mentalism in the first place? That comes before keyword research and is more niche research.

You want to learn how to determine the SERPs competition for a keyword.

You want to learn how to find out (for AdSense sites) which keywords are being targeted by advertisers so relevant ads show up on your pages for those keywords. More advertisers targeting a keyword is better.

Watch multiple videos and look for other suggestions on the right. If you find a good one see if there are more quality videos in the same channel.

This is a pretty good video on basic keyword research and touches on competition and niche research.

If you like it, then Jay's 'Lazy Ass Stoner' channel has a lot of good introductory videos.

        A few notes:

When he says keywords with search of 1000 to 50000 search he means total searches for all keywords, not for each keyword.

His sites target affiliate products and Amazon so his last bit of advice for targeting "buyer keywords" is not as relevant to AdSense so long as there are advertisers targeting the keywords with Adwords.

Thanks. I watched some of his yesterday.

I understand what he is claiming to work, but it will it work TODAY or has google done something that would prevent it from working?

Yes, the basics of what they are outlining do work today.

Google has cracked down on some of the "greyhat" ways people would use to rank. Such as paid blog networks and excessive spammy backlink profiles. This is with things like the "Panda" and "Penguin" updates.

But ranking in Google still brings traffic and targeting low competition keywords still makes it easy to rank in Google.

As was mentioned, adblockers can take a lot of revenue from sites that rely on ads. But AdSense sites still make money and they still sell well on Flippa.

Problems with the first video are:

Too small search volume. Targeting a total of 380 search volume is too low. Ranking #1 only gets 60% of that so ranking #1 for ALL your keywords is only going to bring a trickle of traffic. Even if AdSense converted above average a site like this is only going to make about $4 a month if it ranks #1 for ALL the keywords.

He is looking at the wrong CPC. The estimate he is using is for the "Search Network". Ads showing on an Adsense site are ads purchased on the "Content Network". That is usually a much lower CPC. And you only get 68% of that.

He does not show you how to tell if the keywords have value for an AdSense site i.e. are advertisers paying for these keywords?

He creates multiple pieces of content targeting the same keyword. If you want to write 10 articles you need 10 keywords + another 20 or so associated keywords (LSI) to help the main keyword rank.

He gives no informaton about how to determine competition and how difficult it would be to rank for the keywords in the SERPs. No "on page" SEO tips. No SEO tips at all. And no other traffic plans (ppc/social media/youtube) offered.

Ad blockers are way too popular to rely on ads for monetizing imo.
