Hello, i am planning on starting a bing ppc campaign to drive targeted traffic to my landing page. I was wondering if using long tail pro or semrush would be worth it to find the most profitable keywords for the niche i am in. Has anybody had any good experience or results using semrush or long tail pro to find the most profitable keywords for their ppc campaigns? also wondering if it is possible to make sales just writing high quality article review websites (using bing ppc) about an affiliate product i want to promote and implementing the keywords i find using either longtail pro or semrush instead of strictly sending traffic to my landing page, i know this might sound stupid but i am a newb.

    hello

I dont have any experience in above mentioned, but you dont need to use only that two ones...
LongTail keywrods are ever good for startups and new projects it has low competition and lower CPC as well, so my conclusion is, you can search via GoogleKeywordPlanner as well, but do some deeply research and take it some time to get long tail keywrods.
Better is to choose long tail with 3 and more keywords and low monthly research, it will brings you laser targeted traffic and better results (in my previous case)

regarding to 2nd answer, yes its possible but your article must be valuable and be UNIQUE, to looks trustworthy and has some "free how to points" inside.

Longtail Pro is one of the best pieces of software for keyword research and there is definitely money in creating reviews for affiliate products. However, this niche site style tactic was used often a few years ago and driving traffic to these types of sites can be difficult nowadays.

As you said you are using PPC, traffic generation should not be an issue, though your success will rely on you being able to get conversion rates high enough to justify the advertising cost.

Nice thing about PPC and with the major search engines is you really can not get more targeted. These people are coming to you. Make sure your break your keywords down into adgroups within your campaign. Never used the programs your asking about but stick with long tail and stay away from to broad.
