Default Sales Pages Dunce! Whats a girl to do?

I have just joined the Warrior Forum & after looking over the other posts decided to see if anyone could help me out with my problem. I am a very, very tech unsavvy young lady who is nevertheless starting up a few internet businesses. I love the e-biz format but have had to hire two assistants to help me with the technical stuff.

My problem... I wrote all the copy for my sales page but it still looks like crap I dont know what I'm doing wrong. I can't seem to get a good 'flow' going.. is there anything to help beginners do a step by step salespage? Does anyone have killer salespage experience who wants to suggest something?

Anything will be very appreciated!

Hi,

We have a Copywriting section here at WF. Check it out for an amazing amount of solid advice. Some of the best copywriters in the world frequent that section.

Also, if you're just getting started, here's a free tool that will give you at least a good start on a working sales page: Page Gorilla, Create killer sales page using this freeware wizard sales page generator software

Good luck! PM me if you ever need some direction or just need a sounding board.

John

Use squidoo and hubpages for a starter, they are easy to use and I make a lot of money with it!

After you get familiar with web design, then start to build your own site... I use wordpress all the time!

don't do a sales page - do a sales video.
if you talk through it , even refer to notes, and tell people that the product is brilliant it is just your video that might be a little nervous.

i think that the "sales page" thing has become so boring that i do not know anybody that reads them. unless you sre going to a niche that only attracts more "offline" types.
but if you had videos and many up on the different sites they all will bring you traffic.

check the micro continuity system. they use a short-cut video system.

hope this helps.

Try vocalising your sales pitch. Find a friend or family member to listen to you pitch your product and if possible record the conversation. This might seem a bit weird but you'll get a conversation flow going and be able to gather your ideas which then be edited and refined to make your sales copy.
