I am assuming your 2,000 buyers have bought a product in the same market as the product(s) you are intending to offer. 2,000 buyers is a decent list, you only need 34 sales @ $147 to make $5,000 which is a 1.7% conversion rate. I can get as high as 50% conversion rate on my buyers list, even on my old buyers lists who I haven't contacted for years I still can get around 10% usually. Once a buyer, always a buyer. If you have a decent $147 product I'd create a genuine limit of say 100 copies available then e-mail the 2,000 list repeatedly and in each e-mail tell them how many copies are left and make it clear they are running out fast and won't be offered again. If you send 6 or 7 e-mails to the list over a couple of weeks and do it correctly I'd be surprised if you couldn't generate 100 sales @ $147 using scarcity and a 2,000 buyer list. 100 x $147 = $14,700 |

Hi, Ross, A challenge is only that - if you don't meet it with good reason don't fret it. Health problems? If you have a few days I will go through some of my health problems with you but let me just stick with the latest one which was confirmed on Tuesday - I have serious damage to my right eye becaues of a secondary growth and I won't be getting the sight back. Health issues can be lived with or surrendered to and it sounds like you have surrendered. Many of my recent posts to the WF have been typed for me because I often cannot see my keyboard - maybe someone could type your blog posts for you? |

You might not like what I say - but I believe it. Build it, make money, then build some more Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies! | |

Hi Ross, Health is everything, but I have found it is mainly driven by mindset. I have worked with some of the best wellness professionals in the country over the last 5 years in helping them grow their businesses and found even they had the same challenge. We humans let our sabotuers hold us back (the glass ceiling) from achieveing what we think we want and quite often its through poor health. Movies such as "The Secret" tell such a powerful story and I have taken these lessons myself to propell myself out of lifes holes. We do have a choice, you just need to make the right choice . . . be a victor or victim. It's up to you. Make your choice, Steve |

You seem to have a lot going on and the added pressure to complete a challenge you set youself can't help. Seriously, I would ease up on myself. Mail your list and try to reach your goal but if you don't, don't fret over it.

I hope you don't mind me saying this - but reading your post you sound seriously stressed. That's not the right frame of mind for earning online. When you're stressed your mind turns into a butterfly and you can't concentrate on focusing on a single task or aim. Right now it sounds like your kids need you. Focus on them. If you don't, they will demand your attention and make your more stressed. If you have chronic flu like symptoms you could have a glandular fever type virus. Go easy on yourself otherwise it will take you twice as long to recover. As Artwebster says, health issues can be lived with or surrendered to - I know there is a member here with CFS and I have had ME for 33 years. However, when you are in the acute stage of a debilitating illness (and yes, I do count flu) you need to be sensible. Don't push yourself and focus on the most important thing - your family. When you are feeling better and/or your wife can be around more that is the time to go all out for your online business. |

Thanks again! Sincerely, Ross |

Hi Ross Rosetree and Artwebster hit the nail on the head! Why on earth would you want to worry about some challenge you have set yourself when you obviously have more important things to worry about. (Your family surely comes first). Unless you're all absolutely starving and you're about to be homeless etc I wouldn't worry about some poxy challenge you gave yourself. Your wife obviously needs your support and your children obviously need their dad. (You need to get a perspective) Once you get your family situation (and your health) sorted then is the time to start setting yourself challenges. Be interesting to see how you get on. Good luck with everything Kim Quote:

Great, it's not the end of the world. You all are right, family comes first. Maybe it's not the right time that is why health interferes and obviously another problem comes out. Like Dr.Mani said to me even 10% of the challenge achieve I still win not 100% but 10%. Thanks Kim. Ross |

| Good luck with the health and the challenge. At least with a web business you can work at your own pace and from home To artwebster sorry to hear about the eye but I think I can beat it. I was hit in the eye by my 2nd ex wife with the stiletto heel of her shoe while I was driving !!! This caused Fuches Syndrome at the back of the eye (an ongoing loss of sight with other side effects) but the good news, it helped get the divorce through and I still have the other eye !!! |

Alright, if you are stressed, think like this: "What's the worst that could happen?" "If I don't fulfill my challenge, what's the worst thing that can happen ,and is it really that bad?" When I adapted that mindset (Didn't read it anywhere, just figured it out myself), I was able to NEVER stress. Seriously, I never get that "stressed" feeling.Ever. Whatever it is I do, even public speaking, and I'm not too prepared I just think about that. I believe in myself enough to know that it all works out in the end. You should too. Heck, you probably make quite a bit online, so you know it will! As for what you should do... How about selling your product at a major discount to your buyers list? It will even boost your relationship with them if the product is good, as well as the deal. Tell them about your challenge, your situation, and why you are offering your product for so low. Also tell them that once the goal is met, the price will go back up. Also email them updates until it's all sold out. I think that could work =) Good luck with all of it! Regards, Preben |

Hi Ross, As others have mentioned tasks becomes more difficult (sometrimes overwhelming) when you are stressed. Your readers will understand this because it happens to them too. You're the one who gave yourself the challenge, and you are the one who can choose to postpone the challenge due to circumstances beyond your control. Again your readers will understand. I suspect you are also stressing over "what people will think of you" if you don't rise to your own challenge. Don't worry about what others will think, because you have no control over that. Just explain to your readers and perhaps to your list that you have been down with the flu, and tell them about your father-in-law. I think you will find a lot of support from your readers. :-Don |

As difficult as it is at the moment you need to take time out in the day for you and do something that relaxes you. That may be many things read a book, shut your eyes and imagine yourself ina better place, take a brisk walk, anything that will relax you. No one can work when they are over stressed it paralyses any thought processes. Relax first and make money second. It is really hard to take care of yourself when you are stressed but it is precisely at this tiem that you need to take the time out. Things will not always be as bad as they are change will occur butr in the mean time take time for yourself. You have to be strong for your family and to be strong you need some time for you. My best wishes Catherine Catherine |

Hi Ross, Sorry to hear about your situation but I'd like to say that you're not alone. If you would do a survey beetwen your list members about their problems then you would realize that most of them have a little or bigger problems. The most painful one is everybody's own trouble naturally. You know, the years do not pass above us tracklessly. I turned 66 last month. When I was in my younger years I didn't think that I gather up some maladies myself. High blood pressure, high cholesterol level, arteriosclerosis, heart attack, and arthritis in my shoulder -- that are the bonuses I got from the life. But these are unimportant. I have a loving family -- thanks to God -- and only they are important. But enough about me. You heard it certainly already that "the palm grows under a burden". The challenges are in order that we answer to them. There is a challenge like that what we set up for ourselves, there is what settled up by our life. It is necessary to solve all of them somehow. We are not alike, we do not respond to the things equally. And according to an other saying: "practice makes perfect". I just like to say that you will be much experienced in solving another arousing problem next time. These things make you stronger. And your family is your support in that. They count on your strenght. You must to take care on them and they will return your love and solicitude. The life does not make sense without a family IMHO. And as I see, you can reckon on the family of WF, too. Sure because you deserve it. So relax. Best regards, Sandor ___________ "Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching?" Well if you have not been able to work for few days because of your health problem, then add more times to your challenge. Or contact some JV partners to promote your products. Also, with a 2000 buyers list, a smaller priced product may do very well. How was your conversion rate in the past for a $10, $20 product of your own ? Maybe your can offer your PLR package with different options : the full pack at $147, or half of it for $97, or only few components at $47. So your visitors who don't want to go for the full price still see something more affordable. I don't know if this is a good idea or not, just an idea. Best Regards, Tom |

Hi Ross, I think you could put aside your personal goal for a while, and focus on the more important priorities for now, like your health and family. You could always create new goals any time. Anyway, I'm here if you need me, buddy. Hang in there. Any problem, no matter how big, shall pass. Take care, Michael |
