Suggestions & Advice Welcomed - Article Writing

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a little push in the right direction as I'm kind of overwhelmed right now.

I like to think of myself as a pretty good writer (I could be totally full of myself though ) and have a large passion for fitness. Namely powerlifting and strength training in general, along with nutrition. I love to look at the science of training and nutrition because the science is proven to work and I'm all about doing what is most optimal.

Currently I am training for a powerlifting meet in January and I take my training programming very seriously. Basically, I love to discuss this topic and fitness in general and I want people to understand what is proven to work and not exactly what they hear from the local gym "bro" or in some glamorous fitness magazine.

I'm reading what I am writing and thinking to myself most of these people could care less, LOL, but what I am trying to get to is that I'm interested in writing about these topics. I don't know if I want dive right into starting my own website yet, so I'm asking for some suggestions on how I would be able to provide my service of writing these articles?

Any feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

First, you should write some awesome articles to showcase your talent knowledge to potential clients. You can then sell your services via freelance websites or classified ads.

In your case, you may try to contact some website owners and tell them them your story. Maybe someone might be interested to have daily entries while you prepare for your powerlifting meet.

I'm pretty sure the OP was talking about wanting to write high quality content regarding the specific niche of fitness and nutrition science. The above suggestions of becoming a freelance writer will not help with this too much, though if you need quick income, freelancing is one route, though you rarely get to choose the topic.

I strongly suggest you start a long-term, value-providing internet business. You seem passionate about this niche and I'm sure there are a bunch of people wanting to learn what you know. I would start by conducting some niche research and finding an audience who want to understand the science, yet are focused on a problem or goal you can provide products and solutions for.

Once you find your niche, get a Wordpress website set up and start providing content.

The majority of people I speak to are similar to yourself. Passionate and ready, yet will not admit it. It's time to take action, you've done your research, you have a passion and you obviously have an interest in internet business otherwise you wouldn't be here on this forum. Take action and if you need any help, drop me a message or email, I'd be happy to provide assistance and advice.

Failing all of this, if you definitely do not want to create a website and business, you could investigate writing your own Kindle book on the subject and selling it through Amazon.

I would also suggest the ebook route. Once you have one complete (or nearly) set up social media accounts to help establish your authority within the fitness niche and reaching your target audience. Once you gain traction and build a following, this can really help bring quality traffic to your ebook site and most likely boost your conversion rate.

You should start on the freelance sites to find clients. Then you can go over to Fiverr and provide writing services in your niche. Then you can run a WSO here on the forum for sellers in your niche. Or you can simply create your own book, and sell it on Amazon & Kindle. And then, on your own website.

Also, I'm not exactly sure if there is a way I can favorite each person's reply.. I haven't figured that out yet, but know that I did read and took each person's advice!
