How many of you guys work or have worked as a marketing manager or any marketing job as such?

- Did you like it?
- Why did you choose it?
- Would you change if you could (Why or why not)?
- What is the average salary for your job?

I am asking this because i'm interested in going to UNI and learning about marketing.

Appreciate any response to this topic!

      I own a marketing company.

When I was a child I told a story to my 1st grade teacher about how my house burned down, everybody believed me and they felt so bad.

Many of the teachers were extremely concerned and offered help to my mother when she came to pick me up from school.

I think you're just born to do it. And yeah, I love it went my email erupts with conversion emails.

I've been a digital marketing manager for the past 5+ years. There's been a lot of ups and downs learning the type of clients I want and figuring out the types of services I want to offer.

I like the work for the most part, but some clients can be a major pain sometimes.

I chose this because I've always been interested in business, sales and marketing.

I would like to replace my income with selling product instead of services so I can scale more easily.

Clients typically pay anywhere from $1k-5k/mo depending on services rendered.

I have done some marketing but not for a very long time. I can assure you that this is not the best kind of job to start with. There are usually a lot of frustrations along the way and some time you feel like quitting. Am glad that personally I dont quit easily and now I can say that marketing has helped a great deal, every day i learn new things and I now believe that this is the easiest job one can start with and give them a good foundation. All the best as you enter into that field but you have to be strong my friend. thanks
