Can Anybody Who Uses JVZOO Answer This Please?

Hi,

I am looking for similar to what Clickbank offer, where THEY take the payment then pay the vendor later.

Now, the response I got from JVZOO is saying that the customer pays the vendor directly, but when I go to any websites that offer JV as a direct payment option (not via an affiliate), it has the JVZOO name at the top of the Payment page, for example, if I go to the following website that offers JVZOO:

Football Trading Secrets

Then click the buy now button, it shows the following, and even when you get to PayPal payment, it still shows the following:

The above looks like it is JVZOO's payment account the payment is going to, and this is the same on all the JVZOO products I have seen, so surely the payment on going to JVZOO, yes? otherwise at the top it would show the sellers PayPal details?

Can those who have used JVZOO please advise?

Thank you.

It funnels through JVZoo, but then immediately goes into your paypal account.

Affiliates can be set to get automatic payments as well or be put on a hold period if you want to wait until your "money back guarantee" period has passed.

JVZoo slips out their cut in the process for handling fees.

There is a prepay option for WSO's where you can bypass that JVZoo fee (or was last I knew.)

Thanks for all the replies everyone.

So just so I get this right...

When one of my products sells on JVZOO, as I want to sell them using JVZOO as the payment processor, and not use any affiliates, is this the process:

      1) The payment is paid to JVZOO, into THEIR PayPal account.

      2) They take their percentage out.

      3) JVZOO then pay the remainder into MY PayPal account.

Thereby, the credit from JVZOO will say payment of £$/X paid by JVZOO in my PayPal account.

      Am I correct?

      Thank you.

Seeing the same on my end. Payments going to my vendor account though.

Answering your question, I believe Deal Guardian have the same model as Clickbank i.e. you don't need a merchant account since they process orders.

    Hope that helps.

I'm with you. What's the problem you're having? What's wrong with the way it is now?

Also: I haven't been able to find a way to make their "no fee" WSO option work.

It works, but I don't remember what I did. lol

I believe it has to be established at the very beginning of setting up the offer in the back end.

No. I don't think so. I've sold many products using JVZoo.

What happens is that the payment goes directly into your PayPal account, and then you pay JVzoo their 5% commission fee for processing it. The way JVZoo is set up, it all happens automatically.

If an affiliate sells it, it still goes into your account, and then you pay the affiliate. In either case, if you're not going to use affiliates, you might as well just sell your product using PayPal straight up. Because JVZoo is just going to use PayPal, and then take their cut. You get two notifications: payment received from buyer, and cut sent to JVZoo.

So if you're going to use JVZoo to process your payments, and not use affiliates, there's not much benefit, unless you're using JVZoo to host your webpages and deliver the product. If you have your own site, you can just direct them to their download, and save yourself the 5%. But I'm still wondering what problem you're trying to solve...

The only other reason to use JVZoo in spite of the 5% commission fee, affiliates, product delivery and webpage hosting aside, is because they'll put your buyer on an email list of your choosing, so you can build your buyers list.

By the way, if an affiliate sells a product for you, you hold onto their money until you decide to pay them. You could set it up to pay them instantly if you trust them, or within whatever period of time you wish using delayed payments. And then that money sits in your PayPal account, until you decide to pay them out. JVZoo keeps track.

      Ya.

2 reasons to go through JVZoo.

      1. You want to be listed in their directory so you can get some affiliates
      2. You want to host the download through them so you don't have to put up a website.

Otherwise it is just easier to do your own site (membership style) and send people directly to your paypal which redirects to the download page after sign up. Or not - if you are not comfortable with creating your own membership site.

    Thanks for all the replies.

I have decided against JVZOO, I think it would be a risk to use your own PayPal account under those circumstances.

      It's not.

If you use unknown affiliates and approve them for instant payments you put yourself at risk, but you have no fear for your Paypal account, IMO.

I trust JVZ a lot more than CB at this point, that's for sure.
