Blog Monetization Ideas? - Looking for New Ideas...

Hello guys and girls.

I am looking for ideas to increase my monetization efforts of my Internet Marketing blog.

These are the ideas I have considered and some of which tested so far;

Google Adsense
Private Advertising
Advertising through Text Links;
Kontera
Adbrite
Affiliate Marketing
CPA (Testing currently)

I am really looking for the type of advertising that I can get a set rate for, such as private advertising however this takes up too much of my time trying to get advertisers.

I have an advertising page on the site however not many people join through that.

Anyone any suggestions?

    Do not sell links if you rely on Google traffic

    Depending on your niche, normally Adsense is very poor earner unless you can get thousands of page views a day

    Look at banner ad networks such as BuySellAds.com etc rather than private ad sales if you are very short of time, but private ads are going to pay the best in terms of advertising

    If you can build a good list and trust then affiliate offers work VERY well (do warts and all reviews, rank for actual product brand names)

    Best profit over all though is to sell your own products and services. You do not require as much traffic or subscribers, just very targeted audience.

    Work hard on creating your loyal audience.

      Thanks Chris, funnily enough I already have that book, good book by the way however I do admit that its more for the beginner in the Blogging industry rather than the intermediate to expert, however there are always a couple of new things you can pick up on, plus for the price its worth it.

      I am trying to build a list, but building a relationship with them takes a long time as I am sure you know.

      I will check out buysellads.com I think I tried them in the past but it was when they were first becoming established so I hope things have got a little more lively since then.
