My Dream paypal order form for digital products

Hi friends,

I am planning to use paypal buttons for selling my ebooks.The order form is very detailed.It asks for address and phone number.I think it may reduce my conversion rate.

This is the details of my dream paypal order form for digital products

Country
Zip or postal code
Credit card details
Name
email address

and the customer should be redirected to the thank you page immediately after payment.

    You can set that kind of thing in the advanced options for the button.

    Do you even need to know country and zip code? I would not ask for that, unless you have to charge sales tax to people in your own country or state.

    If it's a digital product like an ebook, I have no idea why you would need Country & Zip Code. Maybe to figure out your demographics & who's purchasing from where?

    When using Paypal, does the form show the return URL in the HTML code? If so, whats to stop someone going directly to the download page without paying?

      No.When we save the button in paypal, it won't show the download link in html.It will be encrypted.

        Hmm, I might have to check on this. Ive been specifying a return url within hidden form objects, and its visible!
