Now my question is what is the best way to hire article writers and be sure they dont link to Unwanted sources ?

i dont have time to check writers all the time also i dont want to Unfollow all links and i want writers link to internal pages so i dont want to block the writers to linking .

I'm probably missing something here, but, if a writer added spam links to YOUR site, can't you just go in and remove them?

As to your question, there really isn't a way (that I know of) that can prevent writers you hire in the future from doing that again, other than someone monitoring the articles.

You said you didn't want to take the time to do that, but isn't removing all the links and building the site's reputation up, more time consuming?

How did the writer spam old articles? Was that writer allowed access to your site? If that's the case, then adding "users" in Wordpress will restrict access. Each "user" has their own password and can only access their posts. Their dashboard will have a different look than the admin's. Then you can just periodically check each user account for unwanted links.

I'm not sure if this helped, but removing links isn't hard. It's convincing Google to love you all over again!

What exactly do you mean by "the writer spam the Old articles in the site not new articles"? Here are two ways how the things you said can be interpreted:

        1. Are you talking about your writer placing spam outbound links in your old articles?; or

        2. Are you talking about your writer placing backlinks in spammy offsite locations, which point to the old articles in your site?

If it's number 1, then a managing editor or Q/A editor can be assigned to regularly check and clean up both old and new articles in your site; and

If it's number 2, then a managing editor or Q/A editor can be assigned to disavow those backlinks ...

However, you of course need to hire good writers who won't most likely do numbers 1 and 2; and

After you've done that, then the only way you can prevent numbers 1 and 2 from happening that I know of is to hire a managing editor or a Q/A editor, especially since you said you don't have time to do what you'll be assigning this managing editor or Q/A editor to do ...

Story doesn't make sense to me - why would a writer be adding links to begin with? Why would someone who did work for a year all of a sudden go rogue? Maybe didn't get paid or maybe that's not where the site's problem was....

From what you've posted in the past, you hire writers at lower end of prices so should be checking the articles you buy for YOUR SITE to make sure they are not "old articles" to begin with.

This thread makes me wonder why you posted the thread below a few days ago...

its exactly what the writer did: placing spam outbound links in your old articles?

how editor can check it all the time ?..for example if an article wrote in 2007 and a writer add spam link to that article how an editor find it ?

is there a plugin to check content all the time of any internal or external or spam links add to the old articles ?

Guess I'll try this one more time... why not?

How did the writer get access to the article?, or articles?

I think you need a manager to maintain all of your works. You can also hire a freelancer from a freelancing site like Upwork. I suggest you to pause the contract when your task is finished and end the contract after three or four months.

Problem discovered! I think his spam-linking-writer somehow got into my inbox as well... all kinds of weird forex trading stuff in there!

It seems that you gave the writer access to your wp admin panel to post the articles. So change the password so they no longer have access, get the articles in Word or Notepad and post them yourself.

In the future do not give access to your site to anyone.

You can hire any freelancer from any freelancing site. You should check the content, if you think, you do not have enough time to check, you must have trust to the writer. Thanks

Sounds like you have thousands of old articles, and also getting hundreds of auto-published guest posts each week in your site/s (based on what Theresa dug up) ...

Either that, or you don't have experience hiring people and making good use of their paid hours ...

Anyway, if you have thousands of old posts and hundreds of new ones each week, then the only solution that I know of is:

Hire a team of managing editors; and
Ask them to use this: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-analyze-your-links-in-wordpress-with-linkpatrol/

      QUOTE:
      What is LinkPatrol?
LinkPatrol is a WordPress plugin that helps you find, review, and clean up links in your posts and pages. You can sort by domain, sort by authors, keywords, etc. It allows you take action such as nofollow or strip links in bulk thus saving you a lot of time.

If you're looking for a 100% automated solution (no need for manual review), then that's a good concept for a product; BUT

How will the plugin decide which outbound links to flag and automatically nofollow or remove? Server IP address? Relevance to content using keywords? SEOMoz DA & PA? Domain age? Backlink profile of linked site? Position of the moon when the post was published?

First of all, why do you let the writers inside of your Admin area? There is no need for this except if you don't know how to do that.

I am always using a writing service which gives you the possibility to upload the article to your WordPress site/blog.

Here I can give you the link (it's my aff link) so you can check it out

    GoodLuck.
