Article Marketing ROI?

Hi Guys!

I'm finally getting into/looking at article marketing for any product/service you have.

Could those of you who have successfully done article marketing (whether just 1 article or 100), let me know what kind of ROI you've seen?

I.e., how many articles, how many directories, etc did you have to submit to until you actually started seeing sales from it, and were the results cumalative? (I.e., if you say had 10 articles, and that meant you received 10 sales, if you wrote 100 articles, did you see a resulting jump to say 100 sales? Or was it more something like say another +20/30 sales??)

Also, how effective did you find it? (I.e., did results last for 1 week? 1 month? the last year?)

Personally... for competitive niches... you're gonna have to
pump more than 100 articles. Re-submit them to article
directories.

For not-so-competitive ones though, as long as you've got
an article people are searching for and you provide a good
article as a pre-sell... you'll be able to get good results.

Then again, all these are theory. You gotta put it into action
to find the real results.

Hello Jonathan. I think my personal product is perfect for affiliate marketing, we have tested it, however I do admit our testing as of yet is still with a very low amount of articles, I am talking 5 articles at the maximum. However with this we have received 100's of views within the first week of uploading the articles, and this is only to ezine articles.

We also have a great list of other article directories, some niche related and some generic yet high traffic'd websites which we are currently testing too.

We have affiliate resources, such as landing pages, squeeze pages and a wordpress template for you to use and a massive amount of affiliate resources to look through and use.

Talking generally now, I have seen the best ROI on health related articles/products as these seem to bring a good amount of traffic through and obviously with a good resource box and quality article you will have a good conversion rate.

As well with health related articles you tend to find a large amount of health related article directories which also helps with the article marketing, especially when you can link articles together.

I have had a good success with my own product, The Migraine Relief | 100% Natural Migraine Treatment and Headache Remedy and through writing articles on diabetes.

Your ROI will depend upon your article marketing and writing skills. When first getting started it would take dozens of articles to make the ROI I can make with a single article today primarily because of proper keyword research and using the right type of bio for my niche.

I've got some old articles that maxed out at about 500 views at EzineArticles that are so far down in Google search results that they would never be found and I've got articles that were submitted after I knew what I was doing that have 150,000+ views and #1 positions on Google out of 61,000,000+ competitors.

Long story short. YOU REALLY need to know what you're doing or you're wasting valuable time that could be used for other marketing aspects.

You want to make sure your niche converts before writing too many articles. After about 10 to 30 articles on any given niche you can quickly discover if your time and ROI is worth your while.
