I purchased a website from godaddy - which I don't think I will ever use again - So sick of all the promotional crap.

Went to my hostgator account and added the website and it all went through.

Published it with XsitePro.

Annnd when I go to veiw the site it comes up with a parked domain courtesy of godaddy??

Did I miss something here?

Have you changed the nameservers in your godaddy account yet?

You should change the name server to your new host - after that it needs up to 48 hours to reflect the changes.

Don't be worried if it doesn't become active for 24 hours or so. I changed one over last week and thought there was something wrong when it didn't come up by the next morning, but then all was fine an hour later.
