Can we upload videos to youtube from a website form

Hi,

I am planning to have a video contest and want people to submit their videos to my youtube channel. How ever I cant share the login credentials. Is it possible to create a page on my website and ask people to enter all the info and upload the video on my page and is it possible to configure it so that it automatically uploads to my youtube channel?

    I doubt there is anything for auto-uploading to YouTube, though I could be wrong. I would suggest creating a public dropbox or similar storage destination and let people drop their entries in.

    That being said, be very careful of malicious files and viruses!

    Would be nice if that were possible, but to my knowledge...... i've never heard of doing such a thing. I'm sure Youtube security staff has probably heard of the idea (even before you mentioned it here), so the inability to do it assumes that they DON'T want people to do that).

    Of course i could be wrong. Might have to change strategy with this promotion... might.

    It is possible and YouTube provides api for that. It might not be a good idea to let them directly publish on your channel before reviewing for spam but if you need help with this maybe I can help. Just pm me if you want.

    There is a "add manager" option in the you tube. In this case you can use the Add manger feature, if you want. By this features, one Youtube Channel Owner can add any manger to upload , edit, Delete videos. So it will be a good options for you. Thanks
