My play on words domain (Game Of Thrones)... Site content advice?

So i bought a domain,GamersOnThrones.com (theres no site up, im not fishing for traffic)


In you guys opinion, what would be the best type of site to build around this domain?

a few of my ideas included:
  • content, bog, review type site
  • some sort of ecommerce site?
  • try and become an authority site on gaming chairs and sell items with the amazon affiliate program?


what do you lot think would be best?

      Never purchase a domain unless you have a specific plan for it.

      Surely there is something that you wanted to do with what you purchased.

      Folks here can only suggest what they might do, but they are not you and they don't know what skills, abilities, education, training, passions, and resources you bring to the table.

      Certainly someone that wants to start an online business should build that business around your own ideas and preferences.

        My apologise for the lack of info Steve. A little about me, I LOVE design, I'm learning Web design, and I believe I would be a half decent copywriter.

        For a long time, I wanted to try YouTube, but believe I lack the personality required to make a gaming channel successful, the niche is also far to populated imo.

        I love all things TV shows, movies, etc.. hence the inspiration for the domain, although i do admit it was bought on impulse, more than on a carefully considered plan.

        but, as you can see, I've always wanted to do something in this category, so buying the domain will not be a complete waste as I intend to build something around it.

    am i the only one that had a bathroom/toilet reference pop into their head?
    Maybe make it casual game based.
    Like the games people play while in the bathroom.

      What I think would be best is really unimportant as I have no research in the topic you are building toward.

      I'll toss in an "unless" - but even that doesn't count. The unless is if there is a big sale and you can grab the domains for a buck or less. But even then I tend to have a list handy somewhere of play names.

      My advice, go see what others are doing and how they are monetizing (research) and then
      decide which one you want to emulate. Be sure to factor in things like budget and time restrictions.

    It won't work nearly as well once the show dies, so don't forget long-term.

    I'd also check it's not infringing on a trademark too.
