Promoting a travel tours website

I am setting up a new travels website. and I'm wondering besides google ads with related keywords like travel, the places i offer tours to..etc. How else should I market it?

I also will set up social media accounts about tours and places. I just can't think of anything else.

    Regarding paid traffic, you should be able to generate a good stream of traffic through Facebook Ads. Regarding organic promotion, you could review tours or if you don't have the money/time to test them, you could interview people who have been on the tours.

    You could ask reviewers of the tour for an interview and post them alongside your promotion.

    Guest posting on other high traffic travel sites and blogs can help with traffic and SEO.

    Also just creating account is not enough, you need to be active on them, schedule posts, be a hashtag ninja and give out free stuff, like ebooks on travel or reports on travel that people will want to read to start building a list of subscribers.

    Oh yeah, video marketing is really big right now, people love engaging videos.

    I think it would be a good idea to create some detailed videos and post them on video sharing sites. This might be hard to do and maybe you've already done it. I feel if this is done right it can help better sell the benefits of such a tour. Why it's better than others and why they should choose it over other forms of vacationing.

    Running a self hosted WP blog filled with helpful travel content and guest posting on travel blogs - with sensational content - are 2 awesome ways to promote a travel tours website.

    Paying for sponsored posts on top sites is also a fabulous way to get huge exposure in front of a targeted audience. Plunking down some coin is a super way to put your touring company front and center.
