How long for quality traffic?

Hi everybody

I have a site that have not done a lot with. It is a review site for a quick bank product that has phenomenal conversion gravity and overall does best out of all of the health fitness and diet products on Clickbank.

Only recently have I started doing proper articles / 800 words sometimes even longer.

I started trying to create traffic by using some tactics I saw and it WSO guide.
Still no real conversions are sign ups to my list.

So my question is, using pingler which I started paying for recently, creating an article at least every two days, how long can I expect it to take to start getting traffic.

I really want to make things work, so along with this Clickbank products I'm also review and other products and trying to capture new leads and make money and more sources.

Thanks for your help

It really depends on the keywords you are targeting and how you rank against your competitors. It will take a long time to start getting regular good SEO traffic.

You are dependent on Google ranking your pages and competing with all the other health sites for keywords in the SERPs.

Keep track of the keywords you are targeting. Keep track of your rankings in Google. Keep track of your competition and competitor rankings. Keep pumping the SEO (i.e. quality backlinks).

Once you are getting traffic, how does it convert? Cold SEO traffic to a page with affiliate links does not always perform well. The traffic is not targeted enough and often does not have enough exposure and pre-sales info to buy on a first visit/search.

You will need a LOT of traffic.

Faster and better results can be had with a strong squeeze page to capture emails and a good pre-sales and sales autoresponder series.

Once you have a good funnel and autoresponder series, you can concentrate on sending traffic to your funnel/squeeze page and tweak for conversions.

Paid traffic is much faster than SEO/Google Search and can be much more targeted.

Facebook and Bing are both platforms that bring quality traffic and can reach much more targeted traffic tied to your customer demographics. You can adjust your audience and daily spend to manage your budget.

Once you tweak the funnel so it gets a positive ROI, you can scale up profitable campaigns and stop losing ones. Your advertising should pay for itself as well as provide a positive cash flow.

You can get quality traffic right now (literally) if you're willing to pay for advertising. This is the main model of promotion in my business. Free marketing is good and works, but if you want instant results.... do paid advertising. Don't be afraid to spend $3,000 in one week on advertising.

      Thanks to both of you.

I see the problem with organic seo.
Hence why I am trying to create quality content but my bounce rate is horrible.

As for paying for traffic, I'm certain that would be wasting money now. My site is a mess in terms of... Everything I guess. I would link it I'd I knew it wouldn't break any rules, but I am working very hard to fix it, working on my day job then my online presence as I go.

I started to build content around the niche and realized I can link to other offers but my lead capture offers a free gift download so when I link to another product in fitness how can I also capture that email?

      Confusing.
      I'll get it eventually.
I can't wait to make my first consistent week income wise.

I hate I've been at this year's and never made more than $50 in a week. Ever.

Hey Steven I can understand your frustration from the above statement, but maybe you need to do things differently if you have not made much money in years. Something is not working and this should be addressed and changed.

I am not sure what your level of experience is, but you seem to have a basic grasp!

Well said yet again Randall cause it all depends on how fast you want the traffic. You can use Facebook ad, create a 2 - 3 minutes YouTube video ad or you can go the free way like twitter marketing, article submission etc which still works if done correctly but this alternative might take time.

Like it's been said, nothing is ever truly free. If it doesn't cost money, it will cost your time (and still may not be as good, when it comes to traffic).

I'm sure that '$3,000 in one week' figure scared the crap out of a lot of people here, Randall, but yes -- it's a hell of a goal to be able to scale up and INVEST that much or more.

Why is that? Because if you're investing that much, you likely didn't start that high (or SHOULDN'T have -- haha) -- it means you started smaller and scaled that winning campaign up up UP...!!

Yes, you really DO 'get what you pay for'

It sounds like you are doing a lot of things right and I know it can be disheartening to be doing so much work and not seeing instant results. Persistence is key!

It's hard to say a specific time frame because it's different for every keyword and niche, though instead of worrying about the traffic, while maintaining your content strategy focus on getting your site in top condition for when you do start pulling in more people.

It has to do more with the value of the content itself, rather than how long it is.

The vague answer is: it depends on how hard your want to work, meaning how much real and relevant content can be created and how much competition there is for your key word phrases. Also, how big is your niche? If no one would ever search for your desired niche, you may never be found.

A concrete answer: 100 unique organic visits daily in almost any niche topic can be acquired in about three to four months. However, it depends on the quality of your content.

I've never used a tool or anything, but there have been times where I've started a completely new site after I saw the gravity going up and started making sales after 12 days. I don't have lists that I mail out to for my smaller niche sites, and they totally rely on search engine traffic. With a new site, it might be 4 or 5 days before I start getting search engine traffic. Then, it builds.

It all depends on how good your content and marketing are. Personally, I'd use great tips, combined with lead gen service like Promobrite.com and wait a month or two for results.

Organic traffic via SEO is like having a relationship with a extremely hot girl. When its good its just absolutely mind blowing. You feel like you can conquer the World. But when it goes south, boy does it get really, really ugly

I have been on both sides. It can truly be a roller coaster ride and its best not to solely rely on it.

    Ok so....

Stop using Pingler and any other shitty automated traffic tools.

There are 2 ways to get instant traffic (not including social).

    1. Buy it, Facebook, adwords, Bing, billions of other traffic networks
    2. Referral traffic, get some of your stuff published on sites where you audience already are

These 2 methods could get you traffic tomorrow if you went about it right.

The problem with bounce rate is also one of two things:
    1. Poor traffic relevancy
    2. Poor content

This is why I'm a paid traffic advocate, send targeted traffic to your content, see how well it works, make changes to improve it.

Then send traffic again, once you have a working page then it's worth putting effort into SEO.

In the long term, here's how you grow your site...

"So not a single person on this thread so far knows what outreach is?

Most of the things you guys have mentioned have been ineffective forms of link building for years.

Social as the future of SEO, bullshit, the future to anybody with eyes and a brain is paid platforms, Facebook and google are both moving their services more and more towards paid discovery, however you can't concentrate on the future NOW.

To build backlinks now (taking away the PBN option):
    1) Do some research into your target market, who are they? What sites are they visiting now?
    2) Create something of value to them that doesn't already exist on the sites they visit, this is your asset
    3) Approach the sites they visit via email, phone or even snail mail if you have to
    4) Tell them about your asset and that it might interest their viewers
    5) Ask them to link to it

Then repeat the process for other areas that might be of interest to your target market, are there any transferable traffic options? For example a guy who is interested in books, will also be interested in ebooks, ebook readers, pdf's and other forms of material that he can read if it is sold to him in the right way by someone he trusts.

This is how you drive traffic, this is how link building has worked since 1998 and it's still the same, things just get added and taken away here and there.

FYI read my blog post below, it tells you how to do this in a less targeted but still "safe" way.

But keep in mind that what I have said above is a form of link building that will always be effective until link building as an activity becomes ineffective.

Do it for the benefit of the person who will click your link and you won't go wrong.

You'll gain visitors almost instantly but you should add social sharing into the mix of your posts if possible. You wont really see any search engine traffic till you continue posting for the next few months and even up to a year before you start to see a flow. Treat is good don't try any black hat BS you'll kick yourself in the butt later for not treating your site right after putting so much work into it.

  • If you have the money you can always use google adwords and get instant LAZER targeted traffic. That way you can figure out if the niche you are is profitable then you can work on your SEO campaign. But you should try the best of both worlds

    SEO/PPC = amazing!
