    Perhaps you can try Instagram as it was bought over by Facebook and it has gained a lot popularity nowadays.

    My own domain, I build followed backlinks to it, this is an SEO question, why are you asking this in general. Why are you asking half of India about ranking?

    I never really thought about using image uploading services to rank images. I actually been ranking images on the Google Image section from my own blog.

    They are ranking very high and I do see in my stats that I get some good traffic from Google images alone. And my site is about 2 years old and has no pagerank so far!

    I am ranking for long tail keywords in the internet marketing niche - which is very competitive. So I know for a fact, that you can rank images uploaded to your own site very easily.

    You just need to do it right!!
