Default Can I Ban Echeque Payments?

Hi all,

Last night (GMT) someone bought one of my products with an Echeque.

The payment wouldntt clear until the 19th. As occasionally happens, the customer gets angry when the automated payment system detected this and won't give them access - with the echeque this happens to be the payment choice of quite a few sammers.

If people PM me and they seem geniune I am happy to give them access anyway but I don't want to give automated access for echqeues as I have done that in the past and got scammed.

Even the paypal echeque email says such things.

Anyway, rather than struggle with the issues, I would rather just ban echeque payments - anyone know how to do this?

I think in paypal you can choose not-accept echeck.

Hi David,

I will have a look, they are proving more hassle than they are worth, they upset genuine customers and scammers love them.

Yup you can turn them off in Paypal.

But if you're using RAP then you might still get echeck payments coming from your affiliates.

Thought About Offline Consulting?
Fiona - $5,500 + $600/m 1st Week... Anthony - $7k + $594/m... Liz - $12k 1st Month...
Rob - $7k + $800/ 1st Month... Scott - $45,000 in 3m... 20/yo Jock 6-Figure Client 2nd Month
Don't you deserve the same unfair advantage?

Hi Kyle,

I use my own system so I can ensure that these don't come through. Its sad, but eqcheques are causing too many problems..
