Can anyone explain to me the meaning of the different folder icons to the left of thread titles?

I guess there's something in the FAQ about it somewhere, but at a glance I can't find it.

    Scroll all the way to the bottom of the thread page, and you'll see a legend explaining the icons. It's under the "Display Options" box.
