What's up with all of these dot extensions?

.cash
.cards
.gifts
.fail ???

There is even .international ??? can you imagine typing that extension along with the domain name?

is this a viable strategy or is Godaddy or other registers throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks while making money on this? Will Google rank these in the future?

What are your thoughts on these extensions?

You "should" be able to rank them.

It boils down to if you think you might have type in traffic that assumes a dot com name.

I agree that there are a lot of different domain extensions these days.

Personally, I like to stick to using the.com .net info extensions as they have been around the longest and people are most familiar with them, making your domain easier to remember.

Maybe I'm old school but I still like my .com's
I'm sure you could get these others to work though
