If You Had To Quickly Build A New List Today...

...in order to selling to it tomorrow, how would you do it?

We all have built our lists one way or another. Now, from all the available list building techniques, including the latest social media tactics using Twitter but EXCEPT JV partnering, what would you choose to do in order to build a list QUICKLY that you can sell to as soon as possible???

Let's see...

Thanks a lot for sharing this with each other!

    The secret is ... ... ... co-ops and co-reg

Or you can always buy them if you just want a list.
But I hear that's not profitable.

You can get qualified, focused list with co-reg.

      CPV traffic.

You can build a list very fast with network traffic if you are able to give something away and you have a budget.

If you need traffic fast, you're going to need to get in front of lots of people. One way is PPC. Another is to use a service like Rent-A-List (Email Marketing and lead generation. business opportunity leads, mlm leads.). Not just an email blast, this is instead a tageted email to people who must view each ad for 30 seconds. They guarantee that at least 50% of the people who receive the email will open it and view it for 30 seconds. You probably won't get lots of signups right away, but the real value is getting your squeeze page in front of them and then getting their emails into your autoresponder. Once you have this list then you can (A) send offers to it via your autoresponder, and (B) do a list swap with other people in the Warrior Forum.

Giveaways, sell products with resell rights.

I have been having some pretty nice success selling software with resell rights. I am getting paid for the rights and my lists are growing with no work on my part.

Free offers are great ways to generate opt-ins. If you don't have any content to offer, consider using affiliate offers like so:

First, find a solid affiliate offer that you would want to promote.

Then, use article marketing to send traffic to your "product review page" on your own domain.

This site is really just a squeeze page. Your goal is to hype the prospect on the offer, and force them to opt-in if they want to actually see it.

Set your autoresponder so it redirects your opt-ins to your affiliate link once they're confirmed.

And that's it. Now you can get subscribers and affiliate commissions, and you don't even need your own product.

  • Fresh leads are worth more than any other type of lead mentioned here.

Any kind of lead sharing (giveaways, JVs, co-reg, co-ops) is obviously much lower quality. Is it easier to sell something to someone one on one, or when you have 50 other marketers sending them offers too?

PPC > Squeeze page? How does that even make sense? Did you mean PPC -> Squeeze page?

Fresh leads are at least three times better than shared leads. Don't get me wrong, leads are all profitable, but hunt for those fresh ones if you can.

Money isn't real, George. It doesn't matter. It only seems like it does.

Hey Christopher. This is an interesting take.

I'd think leads that come from JV partners would be more valuable because you have the endorsement of the partner.

...Do you notice a much higher response from leads who come from PPC ads?

the simple < & > symbols are often used to represent 'direction of flow', an arrow, taxonomy, and so forth.. not unlike breadcrumbs in nav links...

So, read that as "I use ppc and send the traffic to a squeeze page"..

my appologies - I figured people would understand it.. I can now see how some people may interpret it as "ppc is greater then squeeze page" !

      Christopher,

Indeed interesting take. The reason why I asked NOT to include JVs in your posts is just because you are not 100% in control.

Even if I assume you are right when you say that fresh leads are more worth than shared ones, are they made as fast as the shared ones? I really doubt.

But, eventually, it all boils down to the conversion rate, right. So slower bult with a higher conversion might be even faster than faster built with lower conversion.

If your guesstimate is right it would take a shared list size being more than 3 times larger than the one you create yourself in order to achieve the same value, right?

After all, even if the above scenario is true, the shared list is still faster built than your own, that seems to be sure!

Still looking for the fastest way to build a moderately qualified list, no matter of more or less valuable. Let's call it the closest way you can get to blasting/spamming, without obviously doing it!

      Thanks,
      Dan
