What is the easiest way to promote my site?

Any advice please?

Redditors are pretty big on math and numbers. This would of course be a long term approach, but finding a couple of relevant subreddits and posting your converter in the comments will do the trick. Actually I'm pretty a link submission in a math orientated subreddit would give you some nice traffic as well.

That's a nice site. It has things on there that most people want at some time or another and will probably add to their bookmarks once they know about it.!

I would Tweet it 3 times a day for a week, and see what happens.

Don't forget to put value content, humour and info in all your posts, Tweets and FB posts. Be an educator.

Maybe set yourself goals of the number of Twitter followers you want to have every week, and keep on till you get the numbers. I might also open a Fan page on FB just for this site, and do short posts and videos about it. Don't put LINKS in the FB posts because FB will lower your rating if you do.

What is your reason for creating this nice site? What do you want to achieve with it? What sort of strategy have you put in place. Do you want to monetarize it fast - or is it an 'over time' site?

There a lot of ways to promote your site online. You can even find so many blog marketing strategy over the internet world because "promoting and marketing" these two worlds are very hot topics in online.

As you are wanting to know the easy way to promote your site online. I say you, go for online only one marketing strategy and implement correctly. After doing this, keep tracking all the results you get and do experiment on it.

As others hinted, promote the site in places that may use your converter tools. For instance, on a recipe site or forum you could post a link for cups to ounces, etc. But do it in a way that it adds value and doesn't look like spam.

First thing you can do is being able to choose the marketing methods so that the popularity of the websites can be greatly improved. You can choose to have paid or free methods or even both of them. using platforms such as facebok and Instagram where you pay for nothing to just promote the website. Be sure to have a maximum utilization of the free available methods since there is a no cost implication on them. There after, be sure that you have a blog on the website with topics and contents that users and visitors can be able to share ideas and get feedback.

I just bookmarked your site. Very cool. However, when I clicked on the game link hidden at the bottom, way below the fold, I was overwhelmed. How many games and apps are on that page at playsomething? 200? More?

Your site is uber cool for conversions of all sorts, and eventually you should pay for a redesign. For that, see the Warriors for Hire link near the top of the forum home page where the forum lists are.

The game side, meh, it doesn't fly. People will be going to your site for conversions, especially if you follow the reddit advice from Mike Miz One and the Twitter advice from Fingertips. (Neither of the suggestions will eat up your time.) That endless page will only serve to confuse them, if they ever see the link. On the other hand, if that site converts well, get an ad that explains how many games are listed as an advantage. You know- a WOW; and place it above the fold.

A fun fact filled Facebook page will definitely add to your traffic. Again, you don't have to post every day, and it's pretty easy to accumulate friends who will follow you. There are tips and tricks when using FB in conjunction with a web site. Search this forum for that.

As to the game CPA (clickthroughs), BigFish (www.bigfishgames) has a pretty decent affiliate program with dynamite graphics. I think Alawar has an affiliate program, too. Those can be placed on the right side of your page for impulse clicks without interfering with the main purpose of your site.

Lastly, when you post in specific forums like Mike was proposing, Steve B's advice is right on point - post about a converter, not converter world. Use an informative signature to underline that you specialize in converters.

In marketing forums, you can ask about monetizing using game affiliates.
In math forums, you can talk about gaming and math.

You can also try some blogging, if you want. Im just not sure about what type of content you would have to publish, to attract people who might be interested in your online tool here. But it is something to consider.

You should also learn more about internet marketing strategies and see which ones would you be able to implement to drive more traffic. You can do Content Marketing, for example.

Just take massive consistent action with the promotion, improve your site and the user experience as well, and be very consistent with everything until the traffic takes off and you get to a point where your site is just very popular online.

The easiest way to get targeted traffic is from Google. For this, you need to do SEO (no alternative) other than that, you can buy Google adwords, Facebook ads. They are seriously useful and drive quality traffic.

Also the only way for visitors to keep returning to your site is by updating your site with more content. Also, add a opt in form (this will send them a send when there is a new post on your site).

Your aim is to capture their emails so you can keep bringing them back to your site.
