Tort/Class Action Lawsuit leads?

Recently started working with some major class action lawsuit lawyers in the Medical area. Anybody here have experience with this, and finding leads?

I was wondering how legit it might be to contact patients in online forums, communities etc and try to see who was interested in participating for a settlement. Any feedback would be helpful!

    Since you are going to be feeding these leads to lawyers, you might want to check with them regarding Professional Responsibility rules regarding direct prospective plaintiff outreach.

    Since your work benefits them, they might be on the hook for any ethical rule violations you may (unwittingly) engage in.

    Your leads won't be worth all that much in that situation.

    You might also want to check with the state bar of the jurisdiction you'll be marketing in.

      That's what I was thinking! It seems like too much of a risk on the ethics side to be worth it really in the end, if anything happened. Thanks for the insight!
