Dear Danny, Please keep writing. Some articles will have high views and low clicks, some will have low views but high click percentage. Just keep on writing. If you want to improve on views, work on your titles. If you want to improve on clicks, your body and your resource box both play a part. Titles: Give a benefit in the title. Make the title "blind" - meaning, the reader has an idea what you're talking about but won't get the full idea of what your article is based on the title. For example, "Improve Your Site By Using SEO Techniques" versus "3 Proven Strategies To Improve Your Site's Sales" Resource Box: Give them a reason to click. Shannon Herod has a good simple video explaining how to do this: For more stuff about article marketing and other doo-hickeys, read this thread: New? -- Read This! Hope this helps! Asher |

Danny- If you'd like to PM me the URLs for a few of your articles, I'll be happy to take a look at them. Maybe we can diagnose the problem and come up with a prescription to improve things a bit! Carson |

That's only if you have the right strategies and you keep refining it along the way. Doing the same thing over and over again will only get you the same results. Realize that you need to do something different to get something different. @Danny, If you already have the views, keep changing and editing the resource boxes and test different versions of them, then choose the one with the best CTR. If done correctly, you can achieve 40-70% CTR. All the best. | |

I don't know if it will be any help or not because I don't do article marketing but I think that the traffic you have been getting is targeted. It happens to me all the times on my blog. People come to my blog from Google and they just stay on my blog for some seconds and then go away. This has been making me angry and I decided to find out why this was happening. I tracked the links they came from and I was amazed to see all of these people were coming from Google. I looked deeper into that and I found out that these people were not targeted and they didn't get what they were looking for in my blog. For example: I am ranked #2 for How to make money blogging overnight and the people are looking for information on making money online overnight but when they come to my blog they find out that my article is totally opposing the idea of Making money overnight. Now that reader doesn't have any interest in me and he just goes back without subscribing or anything. I think this helped and if you need more info please PM me. |

In my experiences, an "expected CTR" changes from niche to niche. But 4 clicks in 290 views is bad of course!
