Hi! How to get affiliates to promote my product

How to get affiliates to promote body building supplement products that pay 40% comission per product sale?


I've been contacting bloggers, channel owners but no one wants to respond. Any suggestions please?

    I would suggest you to put your product in an Affiliate Network like Clickbank.com and Jvzoo.

    Once your product is up there, in their market place, take some time to still look for people who would like to promote it for a commission. That will help you get more exposure in these affiliate networks.

    Once your product is getting popular in the affiliate networks, it'll be easier and faster to get other people to promote it as an affiliate. There are thousands of people going through the marketplace on these affiliate networks.

    Another good way to find people who might want to promote your product here - is by connecting with affiliate marketers in forums. And also in Facebook Groups.

    You can reach a lot of people in social networks actually!

      Yep, I can say Alex has some good insight. And some very reasonably priced products.I know he is geared towards MMO niche but if my memory serves me right he has been in other niches in past.

    I suggest you to add your product on affiliate websites and start collecting email marketing database for promote your product. You can use all email database for sending your affiliate offer on users email.

    People won't bother promoting something unless they are certain that it can make money. If you have no sales stats for affiliates, then it's unlikely people will take that risk.

    I suggest doing a launch.

    Set an official launch date, and put your details on JV and launch websites. To gather maximum attention, host a sales contest where people will win money for making X amount of sales.

    Search "[competitor's product] + review".

    You'll be able to find a list of affiliates promoting that similar product.

    Some of them should be interested in promoting your product.

    How did you find these blogs? I used dmoz to find bloggers and then contacted them.
    With this method I managed to find lots of affiliates. I don`t know if I was lucky, or that the 50% RevShare helped.
    Also, there are lots of helpful tips here, don`t be afraid to use the search bar.

    Here´s what i would do if I had no contacts, no email lists or any affiliation with the big guys in the industry.. Yes you can try to get your product listed with Jvzoo, clikcbank, muncheye and other but I would just reach out to the top affiliates with big lists and blogs in that niche and give them 100% (or close to it) of the sales to start with... IF you have a great product that is....

    Why? This way you will get your product out there, build your brand and make connections ... but most importantly you will get the top affiliates attention and the customers email list...I did this with a brand new hobby product in 2014 and it sold like crazy, didn´t make a ton of money from backend sales but this helped me to get inside their radar... Guess what happend the next time I sent them a JV offer? =) This is just one way to do it.. Good luck!

      Great advice.
      Definitely would contact as many as you can who are making real money.

      They may or may not support your product but you now have a dialogue and who knows what can come from that for your current or next product.

  • You might want to study 'cold calling' and 'cold mailing' to improve your responses from bloggers, etc.

    You have to sell potential affiliates on promoting your product just like you have to sell potential customers on buying your product.

    Set up a good affiliate page and provide some great tools for them. Make it as professional as possible so you don't seem like a risk (affiliates worry a lot about getting paid, and getting paid on time, from unknown marketers - you have to assure them).

    Offer a select few blogging affiliates (the ones you really want to promote for you) a cross-promotion deal, where you'll promote their product or blog on your post-order page (if you can do that) or in your email sig going out, and on your blog if you have one, etc...

    If you can create a coupon exclusively for any of these better affiliates that they can send to their subscribers, offer their blog visitors, and so on, then do that as well.

    You have to think along the lines of making a great offer to promote just as you do making a great offer to buy.

    For tools, you should go all out, and create not just a bunch of banners or email swipes, but review videos your affiliates can use, including review scripts where they can quickly make them personal.

    Infographics, ready-to-use landing pages, bonus pages, bonus giveaways...

    You'll have to fight for this. It won't come easy starting out.

    Put your product on platforms like clickbank and jvzoo. Affiliates will signup to promote it.
