    Create three products that all connect to each other in some way.

    Then sell one for $40, and then offer that customer the $100 product, and if they buy that one offer them the $399 product as well.

    However I would change the ammounts slightly so that you can have some "7"s in the pricing as it always seems to get more sales

    So your sales funnel would look something like;

    $37 ==> $97 ==> $397

    The number can best be determined by split testing your sales page with different prices and track which one makes you the most profit. If you don't want to do that I would price it either high or low. These are attracting very clear and narrow groups of customers for which you can optimize your sales page accordingly.

    Yeah, agree with the post above....I would make it a funnel with one time offers.
    Although, it would all depend on the product you have.....if it's an amazing product you might be able to sell it for $400 a piece and then do even higher one time offers in the funnel.

      As mentioned your funnel is the key thing.

      Technically, keep making higher priced offers until your prospects stop buying.

      Use the lowest price product to separate the buyers from the tyre kickers and concentrate on them and so on.

      Pricing, like other variables in IM, should be tested in the market so you can determine the ultimate price that will provide you with maximum return.

      Use these three guidelines as a starting point:
      1. What is my product realistically worth? You want the value to seem evident and "well worth the price" when a prospect considers a purchase.
      2. What are similar products in the market selling for? Use this "range" if you are trying to be competitive. Be aware, however, that sometimes products that are clearly superior should be priced above (maybe well above) others of lesser value.
      3. What are the prospects in the market pre-disposed to spend? Some markets seem to have adherents that are able to afford higher sales prices than others. Professionals, for example, often spend large amounts for things they deem of value in their market.
      When all is said and done, it's the testing of different pricing points that should help you to determine where your products should be positioned.

      The best to you,

      Steve

    Firstly I would like to choose the cheap rate, after selling some products, if I found there are enough demand of this products, I will increase to the medium price. Then if I found more & more demands, then I will increase at high price. But I have to start at the low price. Otherwise, you can choose the discount offer. In this discount offer, you can make the medium price, then discount the rest money to reach the low price. Thanks for your advance.

    Correct. for a product launch time, I would sell at cheaper price, but have a tag line about price increase after such and such date. Once you got enough sales to show up as your testimonial, then increase the price. and I think most of developer and marketer opt such tactics.

    hisoka222, you can't just pick a price for your product out of your hat.

    Is your product of value?

    Would you buy it yourself?

    Now how much would you yourself be willing to pay for it?

      This to me this is almost ALWAYS the 'go to question' for most any Product Creato r( of course there are exceptions) and their product. Would you buy it yourself at this particular price? Or would someone you personally know would they buy it at this price if it was a subject they had interest in ?
