Seemingly stupid question about WF members

Supposing, as in my case, a virtual unknown entity here on the WF, and one who is bashful to boot, had their first WSO which they would like to launch, is there any way here on the Forum to FIND and offer review copies of my little gem to influential movers and shakers, who might deign to offer an objective review of said product afterwards?

If you have a definite method of finding, and contacting, these folks, please reply with specific details. If you do not have hands-on experience in accomplishing this, to my eyes, difficult feat, please refrain from replying. Many thanks for any help offered.

      Hi David,
Are you saying that I just go over there and, provided I follow the rules, I can ask for what I'm looking for?

Sure; that's what I did. As have done others, as well.

At first, I was overjoyed about your suggestion, but then I looked over their rules and, well, here's part of them:
          "Rules:

Not much in the way of rules other than it has to be something you are actually hiring for and paying for now. "

It seems that I would have to pay for testimonials. Is that how you have handled it, David?

You are not paying for them.

            You are getting HONEST reviews.

You decide the rules of who can and can not review your stuff.

You can put requirements IE: must have x number of posts, must have a website, must be able to get this back in a day or what ever.

(secret - I go looking in there sometimes, and reviewing something right now for someone)

My "payment" is access to the product.

Jill, thanks; although I'm a little ambivalent about your reply: on the one hand, I'm overjoyed about the fact that it's only going to cost me a fivesky, but on the other hand, can someone, like me, who only has some PLR article packs, get any traction doing this? From what I see, there are established marketers there offering everything from software to list building products, all the way to video production.

Will I stand a chance in that company...?

That's strange; there used to be an explicit section about how to ask for reviews in that section, e.g., the title had to start with "[Reviewers Wanted]", and so on. (In fact, I recall copy/pasting that phrase from the rule right into my thread title.) Is my memory tricking me, or did this go away?

Upon looking carefully at some of the posts there, you seem to be right. More than a few of these begin with [Reviewers Wanted]. My mistake, thanks.
