Translation - Is it even needed?

Yo,

Been testing some stuff out in Scandinavian and western/ central EU these past few days.

Couldn't be bother to translate anything out of English for this, under the assumption that it's 2015 (2016), i'm targeting <30 y/o's and who the hell can't read English in Europe nowadays? It's 2015 (2016), in case you didn't know.

What's anyone else's experience? I know, I know 'do a test' <-- boring, standard answer to everything AM related.

I've travelled around pretty much everywhere in EU and by my drunken estimations 99% of young, people do the english pretty dam well.

Plus I did some tests in 2013 and found that ENG ads did better than native language ads in Germany, Switerland, Denmark and Netherlands!!!! (French are still pretending they don't do English...)

So - "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?"

Funny about the French. Of course they do English (grin). It's called Franglais.

Last year I wanted to find a French radio station so I could listen to the music while I work.

NONE OF THEM ADVERTISED FRENCH ARTISTS! It was American and British music. Mille millions de mille sabors! What a disappointment.

I go cyber shopping in Europe, and English is everywhere, plus the Google translator is used a lot. Unless you're trying to translate German to English. Sounds like Yoda after about 3 Long Island Ice Teas.
