Question about Torbutton addon/FFox

Nothing in the search turned anything up.
This is supposed to protect your IP addy,cookies,ect...
Anybody have this installed on FFox yet?
If so.Would this help when running seo programs that Google likes to punish people for using.
Would this work instead of a rotating proxy service,addon,or software.
I have FoxyProxy installed right now but have to read the instructions for filling up the data base with free Ip addys.
Can i put a link in here so people can go to it?

    Tor makes things go very slow for me and some sites refuse to load with it

    But,does it do what it says its suppose to do?
    I Probably shouldnt even use it since im on dial up anyway.

    It will keep you stay anonymous online. But it frouned upon it you run programs that produce heavy network use, eg. bittorrent over tor. Running programs like this on tor will slow everyone on the tor network down.

    It will hide your ip but it might not help when it comes to cookies. Cookies work by adding a uniques "key" to your computer so nomater what ip you have they will still know it is you.

    Clearing your cookies and disableing them in firefox's settings will help you stay anonymous.

    You can also read the computer name through code. I'm not sure how to block this though

    I think ill just try foxyproxy for now and see how that goes.
    See if it slows anything down or anything.Now that i watched the video and know where to pickup the ip addys.
