How do I get a job online?

I am looking for some type of location independent job to do online. What would you recommend? I am not looking to make loads of money. I am simply looking for something stable.

Many will say article writer, but I've tried to post threads here charging real cheap for article writing and have had no luck with getting work.

What would you recommend?

I have basic SEO skills, I am a good researcher for topics, I am a decent writer (not the best), I can do Social Media Marketing (except that I haven't been able to get work by posting an ad here).

I can do basic things at the moment. I'm pretty computer literate, but just looking for a solution to get a job online.

Do you have proof and references to these skills?

I suggest you consider establishing a website.

This serves as the primary reference point and first step.

You don't need an endless amount of portfolio examples. You need only focus on showing that you are capable of delivering quality - especially against the prices you offer.

Once your website is rolling, chances are you'll stand much greater chance of snowballing into fruition.

Just learn more about yourself, and see what skills you have and could sell to others.

People are always paying for other people's skills and knowledge.

You should also be evolving and growing your skills.

As you grow, learn how to market yourself.

If you are good at writing, for example, you can build your own blog, and then showcase your writing skills there.

That is a great way to show off your writing skills, and also gain some new customers - as you also grow the daily traffic flow to your blog.

You should also offer your services on multiple Freelancing Sites like Fiverr and Elance.

There are a few good freelancing sites - that get good traffic. And all you need to do is get some customers of your own in them, to start ranking, start getting good reviews, and benefit from the free exposure these sites give you!

You can make it happen - just learn the right knowledge to do it - and take massive consistent action with everything!!

If you are a good researcher, I would suggest creating your own job by creating a digital product and selling it.

For example you could create a DVD with stuff in it, and sell it on eBay or Amazon to name a few.

You could also build a website making stuff available for download.

What stuff? OK, for example, the public domain has multitudes of stuff you can modify and sell:

images, films, cartoons, radio shows, amazing art, classic films or books, you name it.

You could also research all the internet sources for free images for web designers and make an ebook giving the readers the source links

You could of course sell a WSO here, with all your public domain links and research results

    Just some ideas

    Regards

    Jim

I think, offering article writing in forum is still working BUT...you need to have the review/testimonial first. Just contact some respected members and give them review copy If you are really a good writer, how about selling PLR package of your articles?

If earning steady pay online was easy, more people would do it. Keep this in mind. The best thing you can do is invest in your skills. Since you do not have proof of your experiences, do small jobs online for free and save those sources. Then go to craigslist and look for telecommuting jobs.

Since you're looking for a job, then I recommend Fiverr Gigs. There are people there who make up to $100,000 a year. Doing a simple gig like voiceovers can pull in a lot of money for only 10 minutes of work. Of course, you have to have a great voice and know how to market yourself as well. Not to mention, your throat will be dried by the end of the day - so it's not as easy as it looks, but it's something that can be done from home.

2 ways you can go about this:

    1. Go to Upwork, Fiverr and similar sites and offer your services, but don't wait for people to come to you. Do a research, look for those employers that you see spend a lot of money paying for services. just go through different posts and jobs there and you'll see their projects and posts. In the beginning offer them to do some job for free or for some very low price. If they are happy with you they will want to keep you and will be paying much more for your quality services. I know it's hard to work for free or for very low price but this way you get clients, you get relationships and that's where the money is in the long run.

    2. If you have decent online skills you can just create your own income system. Don't fall for all those prejudices about internet marketing. Despite all the lies and hype about affiliate marketing and internet marketing in general, you can really create your own path and create your own income using affiliate marketing or even creating your own product. Trust me, it seems like you already have so many skills and from your comments I think you are a reasonable and realistic person. You already have more knowledge than most people trying to earn money online have!

Actually is no longer an issue to do a job virtually. One can do this kind of work from anywhere of the world by a computer with an internet connection. You can do Freelancing, Affiliate Programing, Adsense, Blogging, Writing & so on. You have to start with that niche, where you are expert. Thanks for your interest.

For first, see what job you really can like and work in this way to get the knowledge and experience. After that, you can create your personal site with info about you. And also create profiles on the freelancer directories.
