Hi Guys. I have a 90 minute feature film called "Body Count", which I an selling for my site www.newwritersebooks4u.com I need to make it able to be downloadable rather than sending out DVD's all the time. Any suggestions on how to do this please? Best hosting, how to upload / download and any potential problems in doing so. My hosting for the site is Hostgator. If they are not the one's to host this section is it possible to link my download page to a different hosting company (forgive me I am still learning) Cheers Guys. Terry
ps at the bottom of this page it says Tags using a comma. What is that please? Trackbacks What is that too please.

There is a lot of options for this. A simple google search for the phrase: free movie hosting sites will give you a ton of them. There is also paid ones that wont show any ads. And yes you could put the link on your site, and it would send people to download the movie at whatever provide you choose to host it.

The Tags are for keywords for your post so if anyone does a search for a post, all posts with those keywords would show up. Im not sure about the trackbacks.

Do you have a version of the movie on your hard drive? If so, upload it to your hosting account with an FTP client such as SmartFTP (may take a while), and link to it on the download page.

There may be a problem of bandwidth usage due to the huge file size though, so I'd make sure your hosting package has a big bandwidth allowance. Otherwise, use Amazon's S3 service.

    Hope i've helped
